He would have lost in front of 80,000 at Wembley

Canelo would have been built like a tank, too fast and yet very hard for Carl Froch to hit flush. He would have saw Froch's wide punches coming a mile away and would have countered him at will. In other words, Carl was just too slow and easy to hit; I referenced his Andre Dirrell fight.
The only guy I would have a given a chance against Canelo would have been SOG Andre Ward. Ward would fought him on the inside, backed him up and made him fight a very physical fight; A fight in which Alvarez is not accustomed to fighting.Comment

not to mention, he knocked out george groves in front of 80000 people at wembleyComment

buddy youre a fool ha this guy is a fool noone listen to his opinion, say what you want about me but the following is objective facts - George groves fought callum smith coming off of a bad shoulder injury that he suffered in the eubank jr fight, rushed to the fight without full fitness or a tune up due to the WBSS format, he also had no ambition at this point in his career, he admits himself in recent interviews that he lost ambition and it became just a grind to win a world title after the failed attempts rather than the hunger and love he once had, he was relieved to beat chudinov and achieve his dream, he was traumatised and not the same after the gutknetch tragedy. The froch fights and the badou jack war took stuff out of him, he was DEFINETELY not as good and fresh and hungry as the version that faced froch.
Also, dirrell who faced froch was at his ****ing peak, did you even watch the fight, these guys the dirrells they burnt out like fireflys but they were hot at one point, well andre definetely was, he fought uztageiu(?) like a decade later. irrelevant comparison. can only imagine you're a troll having just seen you're now comparing different versions of glen johnson. so never mind the triangle theory its the fact that these guys fought different versions of these fighters at differents stages of their careers.
Froch will be in the HOF one day and Andre Ward is a shoe-in. There's a small chance that Kessler might make it. BJS will never even get a sniff of it, jury's out on Smith depending on what he does going forward. Plant is not getting in unless he beats Canelo on Saturday or in case he loses he manages to regain a belt and make good defenses like Froch did.Comment

I think he would have a decent chance to beat Alvarez. Canelo is becoming too godlike in some fans minds.Comment

Lol coming from a guy who couldn’t land cleanly on Andre ward , canelo at this point has shown to be a better counter puncher and slick defensive fighter to have a guy like froch seriously be able to impose his size on him. That’s the thing froch doesn’t understand is that virtually every fight canelo has haced at 160+ has been bigger than him. That’s why canelo developed a style that could neutralize bigger fighters. I actually believe that canelo could beat a Andre ward in his prime let alone Carl FrochComment

He would’ve been. Andre Ward definitely didn’t rematch him for a reason.
I don’t think Saul moves up with a prime Froch or Ward in the game.Comment
