Froch is known to have one of the best chins in boxing which says EVERYTHING you need to know about him
Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: I Think I Would Have Been Too Much For Canelo in My Prime

Carl Froch has better endurance, durability, movement and a superior Jab than Canelo Alvarez. Alvarez is not difficult to hit, he gets hit in every single fight 'Lets not try and make out, that he is some sort of defensive genius'.
For me Froch would be unaffected by Alvarez's single punches, and would ether score a stoppage late on in the fight or win a 12 round decision.
Carl Froch would beat all of the opponents Alvarez has been facing of late, he would of obliterated Liam Smith.
Alvarez is a great fighter, I just think that this era of below par fighters has created a illusion 'When it comes to his abilities'.
I still don't understand how? A fighter can be beaten 12-0 to 12-1 by Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather is a fighter who is not renowned for having thunderous punching power 'But still he was able to deter Canelo Alvarez'.
Everyone thinks that slick boxers with speed are Alvarez's difficulty, but I disagree. Most of those type of fighters always start out well, but then seem to slowly but surely be eroded by Alvarez's constant methodical one geared pressure.
Carl Froch if he wanted to has shown, top class boxing ability. In the rematch with George Groves, he made that fight into a boxing match 'And he did the same thing against Arthur Abraham'.
Carl Froch has a better jab, and movement than Alvarez. Somebody on this forum, quote me 'And show me a fight where Alvarez uses elite level movement' you cannot show me any footage, because there is none.
Canelo Alvarez would have to fight, a style of fight against Froch 'Which forced him into constantly stalking and applying pressure' Same thing Alvarez does against most middle-weights, because that is the only thing 'I honestly think he can do, to a high level'.
What else can he do? Box and move? In what fights does Alvarez box and move? He never boxes and moves, because he does not have that dimension to his game.
Carl Froch for me just has too much endurance, durability and when you combine that with his punching power. Alvarez will be experience complete chaos inside of the ring.
Note: Alvarez gets hit in all of his fights, Liam Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, Callum Smith, Gennady Golovkin, Amir Khan all of these fighters where hitting him frequently throughout their fights. So from my estimation, Carl Froch will be landing ether to the body or up top. And I just don't believe that Alvarez will be able to cope with 12 rounds of that type of chaotic violence.
Carl Froch wins via late stoppage, or wins a 12 round decision.

A mature Donaire was outboxed worst than Canelo vs Rigondeaux.
Canelo fought counterpunching Floyd, thats all.
Canelo learned to cut the ring after that fight.
Froch only fought with one great boxer and he lost vs Ward.
Canelo win vs GGG is bigger than all the career of Froch.
And Canelo is better than Froch in any aspect.
