Here's why I think this mini-torno is a bad idea. Berchelt is coming off a fight where he lost to a juiced and roided up Valdez. He was put on a stretcher and sent to the hospital in an ambulance. He took a lot of punishment in that fight against an obvious cheater. Why would you put him right back in there against Shakur where he would get mauled. Let Berchelt come back safely by giving him 1 or 2 layups and then let him fight the champs. If we want to make boxing MAGA (terrible analogy I know) then we should make Valdez v Shakur next. If not, then Shakur and Berchelt should leave TR!

Berchelt looked bad without Valdez and I had read he had problems with his weight cut. His legs just didnt look right. Valdez may or may not have been on the juice, I don't know. Regardless, I think he loses to Shakur with or without some tuneup fights.

I think Shakur wins the mini tournament. I'm not sure Valdez even makes it out of the matchup with Navarette. He looked bad against Conceicao and I thought he lost the fight.

I don't think Bob is looking to protect anyone so much as he's wanting to squeeze every dollar out of them.

The problem with you idiots is you don't realize that Bob Arum is part of a world (1930 1950 1970 early 1990s),the same world as that POS Don King comes from, that screws (financially) fighters no matter if they're black hispanic white...anyone!!!! I do not like that shyte that happened to Berchelt! He got cheated period. Arum is trying to cash him out by getting slaughtered by Shakur. Berchelt's team should not let him get away with it!

All those guys you just named are the prime examples of selling their souls to get sacrificed by PBC. Mikey got fed to Spence and ain't been on PBC since. Mares was gonna get destroyed by Davis until his eye injury. All he does is commentating now. Then they replace Mares with LSC, who was doing nothing but fighting nobodies on undercards, to get destroyed by Davis. Ruiz was supposed to be a lamb chops for Joshua and he just wasn't having it the first time around. Almost nobody thought any of those guys would have any chance of winning those fights. Feel free to get those guys on the phone if you can so I can ask them tho. Lol
