So WTF has he fought all of his previous bouts if it's just gonna come down to his whole career being a bust because he lost to a former 2-time Welterweight champion with what...only 3 losses (none by stoppage)? Crazy.

It's ****** fans like you who put fighters on these mythical pedestals then cry "hype job" when they lose one fight- such a casual. The sport really doesn't need your "logic" and observation. A total waste, if I've ever seen such.

So answer this, genius....if Porter beats Crawford....what does that make him? If people give Porter his proverbial flowers for beating a TOP Welterweight in Crawford, then that means Crawford isn't this pending "hype job" or "fraud" that you speak of.

And to hell with Crawford's resume because you're using it to yet again discredit him...you still want to see him defeated, so what does that say about the type of fighter he is? You're just a hater, bro. Admit it and set yourself free.
Lmao no son we’re not getting the best vs the best cause ur hero Terence Crawford has never fought the best. Not in any division hes ever been in. Below 147 his best opponent was gamboa who almost dropped him and isn’t very good. He avoided prograis Taylor dsg and mikey garcia all while padding his resume with Ricky burns Felix diaz Julius Indongo lol. Once he hit 147 he refused to fight anyone not named manny Pacquaio for years while passing his resume with mean machine one leg benevidez joe horn Amir con meanwhile spence is clearing out the top of the division selling out arenas and PPVS. Porter will expose bud and that’s what his promoters and team has been scared of that’s why he ain’t fight no one

So, he's never fought the best but you've been following his entire career this entire time.

Tell me what he does next because I know you'll be right there waiting, apparently.

PS: Nobody avoided Prograis, so stop it! That's what made you look even dumber. Thought I'd let you know that.

Thus, I'm not surprised Crawford would prefer that over Shawn Porter who damn near beat Spence AND is fresh off a dominant win against the undefeated IBO Welterweight Champion.
He said the fight was bigger, not preferred. What does preference matter anyways, the Porter fight was made.

              And he's wrong.

It's not "bigger" financially because Keef is fresh off a loss and hasn't been seen in ages - plus he's injury prone AND there's been build for a Porter fight for years, fresh off Crawford going on DAZN and verbally ducking him.

The reason he said "bigger" is that Crawford wants to cash out against lesser/damaged/old fighters. Which is following his pattern thus far. And should NOT be celebrated or overlooked by NSB.

The WBO is forcing him to fight arguably his most dangerous opponent in at least 4 years. That's what NSB should welcome and applaud.

We can't say for certain what is bigger financially. I do believe that the Porter fight is bigger though, but I can respect if the man thinks Thurman is a bigger fight. It is not like he is using that as a reason not to fight Porter, the fight is made. This was one piece of the quote though, he mentioned that there are a lot of good/great fights out there and included the up and coming boxers. I'm curious to how you rank the Welterweight division. Is Keith not in your top 10?

Sure he is. The point though is that he hasn't done his usual "getback" to quantify him being anywhere in the Top 5. And even when he last fought, he certainly looked terrible compared to what he should have been doing. He even admitted fighting "for a draw" which I find unacceptable.

The reason I rate guys like Spence and Porter way higher is that both of those guys will go out there and actually try to win the fight against dangerous opposition.

The key though is "dangerous opposition".

Of the current crop, it's only Spence and Porter that meet the full criteria.

But even in loss, I'd sooner rate someone like Formella, who has now had a decently good showing even in loss, against two dangerous opponents, over someone like Danny Swift who seems like he just doesn't care anymore, or Mikey who got wrecked by Vargas and exposed against a jr. welter with a catchweight in place.

I agree on not rating Danny or Mikey high in WW, but why are Crawford's opponents rated so low to you? I think every last one of his WW opponents would beat Formella. I look forward to seeing Crawford against the PBC welters just to see which side of the street is/was tougher. I say that because the PBC champs, outside of mandatory, fight inhouse. This does not allow us to gauge the rest of the crop vs them.
