If Loma beats Commey and Teo refuses a rematch at 135... the vast majority will consider it a duck. You don't have to agree with it but that's the way it will go.

He has to dominate Commey for that scenario . . . If he just gets by him via decision, only the Loma fans will call it a duck. It won't be enough to move majority opinion.

Three things are going to occur, depending on the scenario:

        Loma Loses
        1. Loma fans will be depressed, some suicidal
        2. Neutral fans will be bummed because "there goes any potential for a good fight."
        3. Loma haters will say "I told you that hype job was trash."

Loma Wins With A Less Dominate Performance Than Teofimo (but by decision or late round TKO)
        1. Loma fans will still call for the rematch, saying it was just as good as Teofimos
        2. Neutral fans, some of whom will want the fight, others saying Loma is slipping
        3. Loma haters will say "I told you that hype job was trash."

Loma Wins In More Impressive Fashion Than Teofimo
        1. Loma fans will be trolling these forums
        2. Neutral fans will be demanding a rematch
        3. Loma haters will disappear from the forums for awhile

What will be more impressive than Teofimo's win? Lomachenko getting a KNOCK OUT. Teofimo knocked down Commey but did not get a KO. He earned a TKO over Commey. So if Loma can get a TKO by the end of round two or a flat-out knockout in the fight, where Commey can't even get up, then you have a performance that will outshine Teofimo's.

There is no needle to move....today, right now, the vast majority opinion is that Teofimo is ducking Lomachanko. That's the reality.

There is no way to spin it, Teofimo wants to fight anyone but Lomachanko, even if it means a nobody for less.

I’m hoping Hearn adds Haney/jojo as the semi main.

Soooo, by your logic...since Lomachanko crushed Nakatani you must also believe that today Lomachanko already outshines Teofimo.

If not...then you can only be saying that if Lomachanko is to outshine Teofimo he needs to outshine Teo more than once, Loma needs to outshine Teo twice and do it in a fashion that fits your personal narrow parameters? Seems a little bias and hypocritical...no?

Putting personal pre- requirments aside, Lomachanko isn't going to clip Commey because that's not what he does and never has. If Teofimo is insisting upon that as a requirement it's not going to happen, he may as well just come out and say, I'm not taking the risk.

Lastly, in perspective....Commey was wining the fight before he got clipped. The same way Lennox Leiws got clipped but was afforded the opportunity to a rematch or he may never be considered the best of his error. Jus keepin it real, namsayn.

Na . . . A Champion disrepects a challenger and says you're not good enough for a rematch clause - the new champion gets to flip him the bird and walk away.

Lopez is doing an excellent job of setting up the Haney fight. As he should.

Your boy needs to make himself a force once again- all the marvelous boxer stuff has worn off - he better start dominating some people or he will become dependent on the scantioning bodies to get him a mandatory at best.

The 'I can outbox anybody' went poof the first six rounds against Lopez. He looked weak; he needs to figure out a way to impress again.

He needs to dominate some people; he isn't going to sell right now (except for a Lopez tematch) so he needs to step up and look exciting or he is going to slip from the public mind.

Can't stand Teo. Hoping George pulls off the upset and then we can have Loma vs Kambosos.

Lopez said he's not fighting Haney and that blows out your entire argument but hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Frankly, do a poll ask anyone you like, the vast majority today say that Teo is ducking the rematch. The only part that's opinion is that I personally think they are right.
