it's called increasing popularity. surely you've noticed pac's popularity worldwide increased more after the hatton fight. same w/ cotto, though not as skyrocketing as pac's.

i betcha if pac-hatton was competitive enoughand a rematch was made, it would break their original numbers, because of increased in popularity.

But the numbers you are quoting only reflect US domestic PPV sales. I dunno that Pac's US-based popularity increased that much from Hatton to Cotto.

People vote with their wallets. I have no points, but I'll make an avatar or sig bet with you that Pac-Cotto does sub 900K.

              Deal?

honestly, it will be too hard to tell because this fight will be in theaters and that will skew the ppv #s.

but it won't do better than pac/cotto.

If this fight does 500K ($25 Mn) in homes, they should party.

Fight is bull**** and I don't expect it to be a huge hit wit fans, but of course I don't wanna see it bomb altogether.
