  • The future of the hw division hinges on Wilder

Deontay is a character that brings eyeballs to boxing,he is like a traveling circus ppl will always be watching what he does next. Without Deontay fighting AJ still & Usyk maybe before retiring this era will go down in history as the worst hw era o.a.t.

And depending on who hes actually able to beat will dictate whether certain other matchups get made.

So Deontay despite making an arse of himself constantly is exactly what boxing needed & still will greatly benefit from.

Wilder can be in some exciting fights, particularly with Brits with profile raised in the UK.

However, he has never been much of a draw in the US, so its hard to say whether anything hinges on him.

He makes matchups exciting like he did this last fight by all the sht he talks & back & forth. You can't have stars fighting nobodies, they need Wilder if they aren't fighting Fury. Wilder v AJ,Ruiz,Usyk will still be draws & get tons of promotion because of bad blood in AJs case, matchup in Ruiz case,& v Usyk it's skinny hws v skinny hws.

So basically I'm saying hes going to determine what direction the hw division goes til hes beaten badly again by someone besides Fury. AJ v Wilder will still be huge

I agree, he makes some exciting fights. But how many PPVs would any of those fights sell in the US? Wilder/Ruiz would probably struggle with 200k ppv? And that's where it'll head. Even against Usyk, I don't think it would do many numbers.

His best bet if he wants to continue boxing is probably to sign with Matchroom (disgusting I know!). But UK prime time fights v the likes of AJ, Whyte, Chisora, even Joyce (I know he's not with Matchroom), could sell well and raise his profile if he managed to win. Plus Usyk has currently been working with Matchroom.

Not really sure where he goes in the US. Not sure anything 'hinges' on him, borrowing your term.

          - -Y Deyonce make peanuts all these years while AJ makes a King's Ransom every fight.

Nobody in America knew him til Fury made him into a punch drunk, punch dummy. Dummy gotta split his purse between 3 managers!!! Desperately needs an soft retirement fight so whatever's left of him can be there for his family.

He should come have a few fights in the UK, he is probably at least as big a draw there now as he is in America tbh. The AJ fight is still possible but outside of that you could put him in there with like Del Boy or Hughie and it would do numbers and he'd likely win. Its a shame Pricey is retired now because that would have been a hilarious match up too.

AJ vs WILDER is a huge fight. If AJ doesn't change his trainer this fight happens Summer 2022 at Wembley Stadium, 2 weeks before the undisputed fight between Fury vs Usyk in Ukraine.

AJ v Wilder would be a great fight. Unforgiveable for all concerned that it didn't happen when it was already overdue.

The big right hand, the big mouth, the ******ity, the vulnerability. People will continue to pay to watch Deontay Wilder. Joshua has a few of those attributes himself.

Remember when Wilder said he was freezing Joshua out. Well i hope everyone does it to him until he earns a shot fighting others like Ruiz, Parker etc. **** Wilder the bum.

Wilder, his fans and handlers are looking for a big payday before he rides off into sunset.

Too bad he colluded with Fury to freeze AJ out of the undisputed fight but Fury being a gypo, cunningly stole his birthright. He had a chance to let the undisputed go ahead this summer but due to his hate for AJ, he messed it up.

So why do you muppets think AJ will do him any favours by helping him with his career payday? He’d be an idiot to do that. Win or lose in the Usyk rematch - he has made his money and he should freeze Wilder out until he fights all the contenders he ducked on his way to beating 40bums.

Wilder is actually the reason why a lot of people think this era is overrated. He’s a bum with one hand and his resume is trash. The division never needed him and still don’t need him.

The bum doesn’t call the shot - he’s not a draw in the US and definitely not a draw in the U.K. He needs AJ - AJ doesn’t need him. Honestly, he’s primarily the reason AJ checked out of boxing. Man, ffffck Wilder.

If AJ gives this bum an olive branch without letting him earn it after all he has done, I shall denounce AJ and stop being a fan. You gotta keep that gladiator school mentality - an eye for an eye and forgiveness is a sin. I don’t support neeks.
