He rocked Usyk bad at one point with a lead left hook you could see his knees buckle and he was rattled ,nothing really needs to be changed but being more aggressive and getting actual advice in the corner which is what the biggest concern should be despite that one judge had it 115/113 which reflected the actual fight . Everyone keeps saying it was one sided which is false ,the last couple rounds gave that illlusion .

I know what you mean on the last point. I rewatched a couple of times to see if was being too subjective, but tbh, I don’t see it that close. AJ landed a few times in middle rounds, sure, but still had it 8-4 and suspect Usyk has more in the tank.

I don’t think aggression will help him win, personally. I think Usyk adjusts to this approach and gets a TKO. If anything, aggression helps AJ regain respect from some fans and that’s probably it. But hey, open to being proved wrong.

I had it 116-112 Usyk. I didn’t like his approach trying to outbox him. Usyk is always a slow starter so I think Joshua needs to bully him early or he is going to get his butt kicked if it goes to the later rounds. Usyk isn’t Ruiz. He is not going to be grossly overweight & unprepared for the rematch. I think Usyk could possibly stop Joshua. I don’t think Joshua has been the same since Ruiz beat him down. He has been tentative in all the fights since. He looked decent against Pulev but that was a badly faded version of him. He needs to rediscover that killer instinct. Usyk is a master boxer who can make adjustments on the fly during a fight. I’ve really never seen Joshua be able to do that. To be fair he really never had to because he knocked guys out. I give Joshua a chance if he rediscovers his killer instinct but if he is the tentative Joshua we have seen since Ruiz 2 then I give him next to no chance of winning the rematch.

I'm torn on my allegiances because on the one hand Usyk is one of my favourite boxers and I want him to do well, but on the other hand if AJ pulls it off a fight with Fury would still be much, much bigger and better for the sport than Fury/Usyk.

śo now people want to give usyk credit? Why not just be realistic in first place and give usyk respect and credit he deserves you had eyes and a brain.?
Josh wins rematch,or rather I hope he does we know it's a picke m anyone can win. It's impossible to say depends who learnt more from first fight. The winner of first fight don't win rematches unless they're better. Usyk can't be better can he as you all said Josh wins first fight

I personally will be extremely happy when Usyk beats Joshua again so that Rematchroom looses it's grip on the division stalling it constantly with they're clauses, alway's getting shots at belts he doesn't deserve. Ali got back in line but not Aj.
As a boxing fan i welcomed the tidal wave of Aj bursting onto the scene with Dazn spending all the money relighting the sport for the UK casual. Since then a string of 38-41 year olds (4of6 until Usyk) made Aj look good they were so slow & shot & he's still never boxed a top 2 heavyweight until he fight's the now number 2 in the rematch. It's no coincidence the last 2 he's boxed of his own generation beat him with speed. He's lost 2 of 4 & still gets another shot, it's a joke.
As much as it seems the world & myself want undesputed between Fury & Usyk to close the chapter, watching Usyk set up Aj all night again with footwork & subtle feints with his right hand to crack the bigger slower less skillful weak chinned & scared Aj faking orbital fractures xD I'll happily watch that again.
Seriously fanboy's what's Aj gonna do? He's not what he's made out to be.

Joshua will almost exclusively throw the jab in the rematch. He won’t be lunging forward with his right or with hooks. I think he wins a boring rematch unless Usyk gets desperate late in the fight and opens himself up to the straight right.

Im assuming this is within his capability or will be after several months of training for it.

Aj looked good against the 4 of his last 6 opponents that were 38-41 yr olds slow, shot & Ruiz 2 who ate all the tacos.
Funny how the last 2 he's boxed of his own generation both beat him(when they trained) with speed of punch.
I personally can't wait for Usyk to skool Aj again. What's Aj gonna do? Come in heavier and slower? Rush Usyk whos faster with better feet?

We shall see....one thing we have learned about heavyweight boxing is that no one is undefeatable and defeat doesn't define one's legacy in boxing.

I agree defeat doesn't define ones legacy. I disagree that no one is unbeatable. Marciano never lost. Floyd never lost. Fury imo will not lose as a professional. It's the exception more than the rule, but it is possible to just be better than your peers, by whatever margin, and remain invicto.

Yes I think usyk might win as he might have learnt so much from 1st fight also

It's a positive take, and it's pride to a point, and some would say you have to take it.

But ffrom a boxing perspective, I don't think AJ has anything else to offer at all, and Usyk has him figured out and will be more confident and active. Usyk retains the belts and the unification with Fury will be nuts.

Should be fun while it lasts.

AJ comes out with early aggression and gives us a highly entertaining show but then gasses out, gets knocked down multiple times by Usyk's razor sharp counters, and finally gets waved off in the 11th.
