Why’s Wilder getting praised for the savage beating he took?

Yeah over a decade ago when Fury was still a rookie kid.

Joshua has been beaten twice whilst he was a unified world champion, one of which was to a morbidly obese late replacement.

When Joshua fans start bringing up McDermott & Cunningham, you know they're getting desperate.

I agree that the version of Wilder that showed up on Saturday would have beaten the AJ that lost to Usyk.

But I’m not so sure post severe beat down he took. I think we will never get the same Wilder again.

The Fury back then was more technical than kronk Fury.

Kronk Fury gets iced by AJ in 9.

The reason is the endless AJ vs Wilder fanboy posturing, obviously. Wilder fans/AJ haters are trying to twist Wilders terrible performance into some incredible display of grit, toughness and durability compared to Joshua in his losses, and that is then used as "proof" that Wilder would beat AJ.

            Because he didn’t quit.

On the flip side, AJ spat out him gum shield v Ruiz and gave the ref reason to stop him. AJ mentally checked out v Usyk after 10 rounds when he knew he was outclassed, he showed no willingness to leave it all in the ring, he accepted defeat while he still had a chance to change it.

There was never an ounce of quit in Wilder. He was absolutely true to his word, if he’s going to be stopped, let him get knocked out.

There always has to be a winner and loser. There’s nothing wrong with losing. Wilder’s accusations about cheating are cowardly, but in the ring he’s a warrior and people respect that. He never accepted defeat, every last bit of will was beaten out of him.

Fine by me. Fury made beating Wilder up look easy. Unfortunately to do that you need boxing skill, head movement combined with decision making to avoid the right hand and then back him up straight after. All of which AJ, when compared to Fury, is pretty crap at.

Resume tells you all you need to.

AJ beats Fury 9 out of 10 times.

Fury is just as technical as he ever was.

Kronk Fury was only adopted as a means to defeat Deontay Wilder as you can't fight him off the back foot.

You need to come to reality and accept that Joshua isn't going into any shootouts with killers like Wilder & Kronk Fury, he shat himself against little man Usyk, he looked terrified, as he has done since Ruiz chinned him. Joshua fights scared now.

Pre-Wlad Joshua might have had a punchers chance, but this timid version of Joshua? No chance.

Fury beats AJ by whatever he wants.

If he wants a 12 round boxing lesson, he'll do it.

If he wants to finish him, he'll do it.

AJ won't get past 4 rounds against Fury. He's too slow, too stiff, and has a less punch resistance than Wilder.

I think Helenius sparks Wilder as well.
i think he will KO Usyk within a couple of rounds
