Wilder is being underrated because of Fury, but at the end of the day Fury is a special fighter.

I still think that Wilder would sleep Joshua any day of the week, and it's certainly possible that he could sleep Usyk as well if the Ukrainian made a mistake.
Yeah it must be the knack of closing the distance quicker than opponents expect like Fury said. I mean how many right hands has Fury slipped over the course of the 3 fights, lol.

    Still got f.uckin banjo'd loads.

Also it just the longevity of the right hand not so familiar with Butterbean but I'd imagine he'd probably go into cardiac arrest in a championship fight. You could still imagine a scenario where Wilder could hurt Fury and turn the fight despite breathing out of his arsehole for about 6 rounds. So I'm not sure. He's unique but I still feel comfortable saying he's a pretty crap boxer. I watch Wilder and I've never really understood why it people couldnt take him out. I'm not having the crap opponent excuse he's fought plenty of decent big men. He just has a lot of intangibles really

In my head he should be like Ezra Sellers. A dude who was sparked out 8 times in his career at cruiser and knocked out all put 2 of his victims. He was nowhere near a world class operator. Wilder clearly is.

    Absolute and utter anomaly.

It was always more about marketing and image than his power hence after Fury fought him the first time and discovered his power wasn’t all that - he decided to fight him kronk style and beat him to a pulp. Fury wouldn’t take that type of risk if Wilder hit as hard as people claim and we saw it against Wlad.

Also when we look at how the facade of Wilde’s power started - it started with Malik Scott who took a dive. Then all the single punch KOs he had after that were PBC guys apart from Spilzka who has no chin and Chisora’s KO of Spilzka was better than Wilder’s.

This is basically why I have always maintained that his power is grossly exaggerated. He made Fury’s chinny beard look like a granite chin with the amount of clean shots he landed.

In history is debatable. But anybody claiming he doesn't punch hard is just being ****** at this point.
