You think Usyk can avoid getting nailed by Wilder for 12 rounds? Deontay isn't going to be trying to outbox him like ****** AJ was.

My opinion is that Fury just has his number. If Wilder fights AJ I believe he puts him to sleep. If he fights Whyte, Whyte wouldn't last 3 rounds. Usyk with his superior boxing skills could probably take Wilder into the deep water and drown him out. I'd take Wilder vs anyone in the world not named Fury. And I don't even like the guy.

I don’t see Wilder fighting again probably until 2023, end of 2022 at the earliest. It’ll take him a long time to mentally process this loss. He’ll probably fire Jay Deas and look to Malik Scott alone or maybe a more renowned trainer. There’s no way he doesn’t fight again his pride will never allow him to go out like that. But an 8 figure fighter like him it’ll be hard to find a dance partner and I bet he’s dormant for a while. Probably lose some zip from his fastball and really struggle through his last fights.

I think there is evidence to sugest both that Usyk could avoid it for 12 rounds and that he wouldn't have to as he would stop him before 12 is up.

          1. Usyk has never been knocked down.
          2. Wilder's shots are telegraphed and Usyk is much lighter on his feet than Fury
          3. Usyk loves to win by tiring his opponents out
          4. Wilder has looked tired early in several of his recent fights
          5. Wilder turns 36 in 11 days and would almost definitely be 37 by the time he could get a shot against Usyk
          6. The damage he took against Fury isn't going to make Wilder any faster

But he has taken two straight severe beatings. I don't think he is going to be the same anymore, and he should really start considering his long term health after boxing.

Is it worth picking up another payday or two at the risk of his quality of life down the road? That's something he needs to give some serious thought to, for the sake of himself and his family.
A bit of an overreaction. The majority of cases where fighters are hurt by a fight or two it's because of factors such as:

-Taking a terrible beating while dehydrated. Wilder was at his heaviest/strongest in his career in contrast.
-Constantly Taking tough fights without taking time off after a KO or gruelling fight. Now Wilder took a long time off to recover from the last fight and will probably do the same again this time. That is why his chin was still just as good this fight.
-Accumulated damage. Wilder has not taken much if any damage in his career before his two most recent fights.

If he takes time off he can likely make a solid recovery and still be game against any top HW not named Fury.

For starters he cant box so of course he wont try and outbox him. These days WILDER fights like he is auditioning for the Walking dead. Instead of shaking his arse he should be focusing on legs day in the Gym

If Wilder doesn’t retire I could very well see these two fighting again as Wilder becomes a mandatory for at least one of the four belts should fury come to possess any other belt besides the wbc. Much can be argued about this fight, long counts, slow counts, if the ref had not let them wrestle, if the ref had stopped the fight sooner. It doesn’t matter. That was a legendary night of boxing and anyone with shhh to say about either man should go watch wrestling instead. That was a championship fight by every definition.
