You could argue that Wilder wins if you want. But you're arguing that Haye wasn't evasive and that his ego would make him trade, or that he doesn't have power.

All completely untrue if you actually watch his fights. Don't worry about boxrec.

The man talked far too much, but skill and power were never his issue.

LOL @ the David Haye hype. Goodness.

Tyson Fury KO’ed Wilder…now anyone can. You can too!

This is basically the boxing fan response for Wilder losing to Fury. Any top HW from the past or present would make easy work of Wilder. It doesn’t matter that Tyson Fury is boxing’s version of The Undertaker when it comes to size.

Ortiz, who was stopped twice by Wilder, almost beat Wilder. This is what I keep reading. I have never seen a fighter get so much credit for “almost” winning. Because Ortiz “almost” beat Wilder by hurting him, I guess Wilder almost beat Fury twice because he hurt him in two fights? Boxing fan discussions and interpretations of fights are absolute head-scratchers. And they are inconsistent. All over the place.

“Prime” Haye, who was dropped several times at CW, and stopped at CW, can beat Wilder too. He was also supposed to use his supposed massive power to dethrone the proclaimed chinny Wladimir Klitschko. Instead he looked intimidated at Wlad’s size, fought scared, and then blamed it on a toe.

Wilder in his mid 30s is getting badly stopped by gigantic 6’9”, 277lb Tyson Fury, who easily dispatched of the reigning Ring/Lineal champion Wladimir Klitschko. David Haye in his mid 30s was getting smoked by a blown-up, undersized Pretty Rick Conlan AKA Tony Bellew, who weighed 210lbs and was never seen as a puncher. Usyk showed Haye how to handle a blown up Light heavyweight. Even Stevenson showed Haye how to handle Bellew if you are really this all powerful punching being.

I guess David Haye is at that point in time after his career where fans will start exaggerating what he was capable of in his prime. Which is amusing to see. “Haye was even favored vs Fury!” Yes, that doesn’t mean Fury wasn’t going to squash Haye like a bug.

Yeah yeah yeah, David Haye beat a giant Valuev. Okay, so did a 49 year old Evander Holyfield. Tyson Fury is not Nikolai Valuev. Fury wouldn’t lose to a 49 year old Holyfield, or to David Haye who after all that talk and hype about his power, only won like 2-3 rounds vs Wlad and the power was never on display.

Maybe since prime Haye KO’ed Chisora so hard, and prime Usyk struggled with a past prime Chisora, that means Haye can KO Usyk easily right? Let’s not stop at Wilder. Let’s go all the way.

Fury, Wilder, Joshua, Usyk, Whyte, Ruiz, Parker, would all be easy pickings for Haye. Just liked Wlad and Bellew.

Since that M123 guy was too scared to name Haye's best HW win, maybe you can ?

He can’t tell you a name because there is none.

He was a very good, but hyped up English fighter. He showed a lot of power, which will get you in fans good graces depending on where you are from. He had big hyped up, domestic fights vs other popular English fighters Audley Harrison and Dereck Chisora, and he won by stoppage.

His other big wins were against a very old, past his best John Ruiz and a big awful fighter in Nioklai Valuev. Valuev should have lost to a 49 year old Holyfield right before losing to Haye, and you can argue that the past prime Ruiz beat him twice too. Haye just finally got the win that judges refused to give Holyfield and Ruiz.

His CW run was hyped up to the max because of his power. It’s not like Usyk’s run where he was beating very good fighters. Haye doesn’t even believe in his own hype. He was stopped easily by the unknown Carl Thompson, never even rematched him. Had toe issues vs Wlad, but didn’t want a rematch.

Wilder rematched both of his toughest opponents. Ortiz hurt him and fans say he could have won? Okay, rematch. Tyson Fury should have won the first fight? Okay rematch. Tyson Fury beat the sh/t of me in the rematch? Okay trilogy.

Different sized balls there. Get out of here with the David Haye hype.
