When the guy you knocked down gets up, lands over twice as many punches as you, at almost double the accuracy, outlands you in 10 of 11 rounds, knocks you down more and knocks you out. You know boxing works on a round by round system, a knockdown means nothing outside of the round it happens in.

I'm assuming you think AJs performance against Wlad was better than Furys because he knocked Wlad out?

Wasn't dropped 5 (7 in reality) times though. Doesn't have a dent in his head. Beyonce got whooped. Get over it.

Get over what? I’m a Fury fan dumbass.

Yeah Wilder was beaten decisively, but he was also far more competitive than Wlad was.

You anti-Wilder guys are a really weird breed.

The TBRB are way more reliable than the WBA and IBF.

The WBA currently have Charr and Dubois as #1 and #2 and you’re suggesting they’re a valid ranking system. GTFOH you f***ing imbecile.

Wlad was unranked by TBRB, Ring, ESPN, Boxrec and essentially every other unbiased ranking system.

Don't know about ESPN and Boxrec, but The Ring had him at 1, with Fury still as Champion. Which makes me think you're making up that last sentence.

As you know TBRB had him at 1, dropped him, and then brought him back at 2 after the Joshua fight. Being removed for inactivity is a bit different to what you're claiming, which is that he was finished and therefore unranked. Make no mistake, he was TBRB's number one fighter.

The fact you say you yourself didn't rate him anywhere at that point shows you up. You had Stiverne above him? Jennings? Pulev?

I just don’t see him as rank-able because of the age and inactivity. It’s like saying where do you rank Lennox Lewis in 2005? Or Vitali in 2014?

It’s the same reason I picked Ugas to beat Pacquiao. Fighters who are inactive in their forties are generally way past their best, history tells us that.

I just don’t think that was a good version of Wlad. I thought he looked below par vs Jennings, poor vs Fury and finished vs AJ.

                  Right.

In football, you get 0-0 draws, you get 1-0 wins, you get 5 - 0 wins, you get 4-3 wins.

In boxing, you get 12 round one sided unanimous decisions, you get 12 round back and fourth wars 'Where one fighter comes out on top', You get knocked outs, You get brutal one sided beat downs, you get 12 round point scoring boxing matches.

People cannot continue to behave this way, when a great fight at elite level happens. Boxers don't have to fight the way Fury & Wilder fought all the time, their are variations in tactics and styles.

In all honesty Toffee, I understand why you have made this thread but really?

'A reminder of what it could be'?

I don't need remanding, and this kind of reaction every-time boxing produces a great fight 'I find to be dramatic, and quite insulting to the sport'.

Boxing will continue to have the variation of fights, that I have presented up above. It was the same in the 90's, 80's, 70's etc.

I get why the thread was made, but I just think these kind of reactions are dramatic.

People ether like boxing or they don't.
