Floyd fought a lot of fighters without elite skills but a lot of heart, like Castillo, Corrales, Hatton, N'Dou, Gatti, and Baldomir. Hernandez was much more shot than Roy Jones when Floyd fought him.

Joe fought more highly-skilled opponents like Kessler, Hopkins and Jones.

Floyd has never faced an elite, prime opponent - he avoided Tszyu, Cotto and Mosley. Calzaghe has fought an elite opponent at his peak: Mikkel Kessler.

Im a Marquez fan, and I personaly believe JMM would have gave any legitimate "ATG" within his weight hell. He would have even knocked some out. I think Marquez is on the right track to ATG status.
