This thread makes no sense at all.

I'll explain why in a min....

Calzaghe retired at 36 years of age and only fought 2 ATG's in Jones and Hopkins, also two 40 year old's(Roy was damn near 40) Hopkins was 7 years away from being 50 years old. If you consider Kessler and Eubank ATG's idk what to tell you....

Here's the part that does not make sense, you say Joe fought more ATG's than Mayweather but Mayweather hasn't even retired. Comparing someone who is retired to someone who has about 3-4 more prime years left in their career is pretty ******.

Same as dumb posters comparing Dawson to Calzaghe when they are 10 years apart and Dawson has about 10 years before he turns 36. Very ******.

I would agree that Bhop is the best name on either resume.

Calzaghe best win is over 43 year old Hopkins in an uninspiring performance which many thought he lost

If Floyd fought someone of Hopkins calibre, it might create a close fight too.

There is no debating that B-Hop > JLC, Corrales but you gotta take into account that

                1. Calzaghe didn't decisively beat Bernard Hopkins.
                2. Bernard Hopkins was 42 years old.

Where as Corrales was prime, knocking out everyone at the time and was favored against Mayweather. Mayweather also dominated that fight, dropping Corrales 6 times I think it was. So I'd strongly disagree with Calzaghe's wins being better.

                  Judah was number 9
                  Hatton was number 5
                  Corrales was number 5

I was waiting for that question. :wank::wank:

You speak as if he beat a prime Hopkins. He arguably lost to a 43 year old
