Anyways, my point is that Floyd has about 3-4 years till he's past his prime and in those 3-4 years he can fight 2-3 ATG's. So it's really not fair to compare his accomplishments to a retired fighter;s accomplishments.

Floyd fought a lot of fighters without elite skills but a lot of heart, like Castillo, Corrales, Hatton, N'Dou, Gatti, and Baldomir. Hernandez was much more shot than Roy Jones when Floyd fought him.

Joe fought more highly-skilled opponents like Kessler, Hopkins and Jones.

Floyd has never faced an elite, prime opponent - he avoided Tszyu, Cotto and Mosley. Calzaghe has fought an elite opponent at his peak: Mikkel Kessler.

Castillo and Corrales at the time were both better than Kessler and not too many fighters could give Oscar 12 pounds advantage and beat him , Hopkins Jones were both way past their best and Hopkins nearly beat him and Jones sat him on his ass , Cals overall resume is not near Floyds in terms of quality , Cal made a name of the back of old greats but dont think for a minute people dont know he beat shadows of what they once were , Floyd didnt avoid KT or Cotto at 140 he offered both a fight and he offered Mosley , where do you fellas get your information from .

Yes but Floyd carried an injury into that fight did the right thing straight up by fighting him again that was honorable , what did Joe do he went for another washed up name rather fight BHop again and then he retired , Joe was protected his entire career and chose very carefully who when and where .
