Mosley had a bigger reputation as a power puncher but their power isn’t all that far apart imo

I remember Oscar knocking out Mayorga, and I remember Mayorga standing in front of Mosley allowing him free shots and just laughing at Mosley he took Shanes best on the chin and folded to a bodyshot. Both Oscar and Mosley had a lot of power hard to say who hits harder they both are KO punchers.

Nah. Oscar can crack enough to stop someone Floyd’s size. He just couldn’t land much besides his jab.

          I have never heard that.

Oscar was always considered a bigger puncher than Mosley as far as I was aware.

I think Oscar De La Hoya hit harder than Alvarez, at 147 pounds.

At 147-154 pounds, Alvarez was never renowned as a devastating puncher etc

I don't even class Alvarez as a devastating puncher now, he is just a solid all round puncher with a variation of punches.

De La Hoya lost every big fight he had. W0 L6 in big fights. Compare that to a great like Golovkin who beat Canelo (Elite) x2, Jacobs (Elite), Deverchenko (Elite), Curtis Stevens (Elite), the only man to beat Steve Rolls (World-class), Brook (Elite), Wade (world-class), Pirog (ducked him, Elite) Murray (world-class), Rubio (world-class), Geale (world-class), Macklin (world-class), Lemieux (Elite), Rosado (world-class), as well as being the only man to beat Mikhail Makarov, (Elite) an underrated win TIL THIS DAY! Oscar never beat anybody as good as any of those. Y'all musta forgot! Nash out

Say what Oscar's ww run is wtf I am talking about. He was a hungry lion when he outpointed a still dangerous slightly past prime Whitaker, then it gets only better. Prime Quartey, Shane, Tito, at 154 Vargas 160 Hopkins in the middle of his mw run. You don't have to sit up here and make excuses for Oscar all day.

I'm new to boxing so my opinion will not matter as much but I was always under the impression that Mosley was more of a knockout artist than Oscar.

This is the first I’ve ever seen that said.
