Floyd seemed to invite Oscar on the ropes and smile it off, taking shots to the arms etc… but with Canelo, Floyd would flee from a drained POW..

If Canelo had Oscar's ring IQ, footwork, hand speed, and jab, would he have won at least 1 round versus Mayweather?

Oscar was nice at 154. That frame isn’t the same as Canelo Alvarez. Just like Pee Wee Herman doesn’t have a Runningback physique

Canelo is a little bit smarter when it comes to cherrypicking though. He knows what guys to stay clear from I guess he learned that from Floyd. Oscar fought everybody in their prime win or lose.

154 was the best weight for Oscar at the time, but I dont think Oscar was too good at that weight. He was really a 140-147 lb fighter.

Canelo beat Cotto, the lineal 160 lb champ. Fought GGG 2x to become lineal. Daniel Jacobs, Callum Smith, BJS are all good fighters. He's about to fight Caleb Plant to become undisputed at 168 - something that has never been done before. If you think he's cherry picking then most boxers are trash because Canelo has a very good resume. So does Floyd ( and Oscar).

For the record, in terms of resume, I would have Floyd > Oscar > Canelo

Canelo has some work to do still assuming he gets by Plant

I don’t believe so. Oscar had pretty good power himself(TKO’d Vargas) and Floyd took two of Mosley’s best shots who had more power than Oscar to where outcome would probably be the same. Floyd was a master in neutralizing power in shots

Records require context, it’s not just about numbers or the amount of champs, it also includes who was that Champ. Who did Floyd face as dangerous as GGG? GGG’s ring IQ is upper echelon boxing and a DANGEROUS fighter.

That’s because Floyd and Canelo are masters at rolling shots, that’s why the impact doesn’t rattle the brain as much. However, rolling shots to the body is a different dynamic. I don’t think Floyd wanted to ever do rope a rope again with Canelo from 154-160 that’s why he never wanted to fight Cotto or Canelo for their Middleweight Lineals.

What makes you think Mosley punches harder than Oscar?
