I miss Kostya Tszyu’s entrance. He had a lady sing his official theme song and he walked right in.
It was a perfect balance.
He walked in like a sane person but had an official theme song.Comment

The worst are the Americans coming to mumble rappers with these bizarre twerking acts, **** makes my toes curl.
Bring back the days of simplicity and fighters that had an aura that got the whole crowd pumped and gave you chills almost. I'm talking a big intimidating mofo like Vitali in a black robe, towering over everyone, coming out to Hell Bells. Nigel Benn taking the roof off coming out to Conroy Smith - Dangerous.
This whole concert era is corny as ****!
Before you had hard men getting themselves psyched up to Tupac & music that sent a strong message and got the crowd & viewers going, ''He means business''. Now its just like what I expect it to look like in a strip club for cucks.Comment

Grown ass men from supposed ******s coming out with a 8st 'gangster' with scribble on their face just spouting random words that don't even rhyme or make sense while the fighter is twerking and doing his best impression of a pole dancer.
Nate Diaz sums it up nicelyComment

Prince Naseem started that ****. goddamn 12 minute ringwalks. Then the rappers started escorting boxers to the ring rapping and now we got full concerts, 2 national anthems, and 30 minutes of bull**** before a punch is thrown in the main event. Adding in that most main events over here start around 1120-1130 pm. I'm damn near in the REM stage of sleep before the ref gives instructions.Comment

If done well it just makes the event even more memorable. Canelos entrance with Pepe Aguilar was well thought out and definitely got the people in attendance hyped, I also remember Mares coming out with the banda on some of his fights. But yea some of this entrances are wack, a bit too over the top and then we still have to put up with the anthemsComment

I think I started getting sick of it when Naseem Hamed started coming in on flying carpets. But I suppose real Boxing fans only represent a small portion of the market, the causals probably lap it all up.
It can be embarrassing when they walk in like legends or gods and then get taken back in on a stretcher.Comment

that happened on TNF once. A fighter came to the ring on a horse and got knocked the f'k outI think I started getting sick of it when Naseem Hamed started coming in on flying carpets. But I suppose real Boxing fans only represent a small portion of the market, the causals probably lap it all up.
