Bhop was kd twice by someone who would be todays equivalent to Angulo. Bhop was always chinny,he was even kd by calslappy. Ggg didn't win 7 rds v Canelo no matter how much ppl gift him the win the 1st fight.(a draw was legit & Canelo was still finding himself as a fighter,since then hes now in his prime & no longer worries whether he can take shots from bigger guys like ggg)

Canelo WAS lineal mw champ when he fought ggg though,so ggg not being lineal is meaningless. Canelo has fought in several fights that would be considered lineal(between#1 &#2) he only lost 1 to Floyd at days past aged 22.

You say he only started losing after going back down(something often pointed out by many) but in reality it holds no significance because before that RJJ had hardly beaten anyone of note & Bhop wasn't at his best yet when Jones beat him(he was barely known back then),he became better at older age,& whooped RJJ in rematch.

Canelo going up to lhw is the same thing as Jones going to HW for 1 fight.(so saying Kov was past it but giving RJJ credit for Ruiz is contradictory)

& Imagine if Canelo gets ktfo after going back down, would he be given same excuse (doubtful)

Segundo Mercado whooped prime Bhops ass & was robbed(he must be better than Canelo too?) Montell Griffin was not better than ggg/Kovalev/Lara. Toney was a overrated fatass

Ggg was a better win than Toney. You also have to take into consideration the intangibles,RJJ was a big ass mw/smw compared to Canelo,he STILL got sparked & lost wide decisions v fighters he had no business losing too like Tarver who was a journeyman ffs.

Imagine if Canelo gets ktfo & loses wide decisions vs multiple opponents & gets his ass whooped by Plant losing almost every round that'd be the same thing as Jones.

Typical RJJ fanbase,goes off eye test without actually explaining why he was a god. Its such a ****** argument to claim that he went up to hw to beat the weakest champ,then suddenly became washed up afterwards & that losing to journeyman meant nothing.(he went down in weight because he would've gotten battered at higher weights,& he did get his ass handed to him anyway)

Heres the problem with the argument about RJJ coming down in weight. He fought Ruiz & weighed under 200 lbs,or to put it simply he merely fought at slightly above the weight he normally would rehydrate to if even. That makes the whole argument make no sense

Edit: he weighed 193 lbs v Ruiz then lost by getting ktfo 2 fights later to someone he had just beat

that was more of him not being used to the altitude, plus he hurt Mercado in that fight as well. the rematch was a massacre. Yeah, I think you need to watch that fight again.

Just wanted to clear up that I wrote that comment while having a migraine,I honestly don't know why I wrote that Bhop was kd by Calslappy(I actually just made a thread recently where we discussed that imo he got robbed by Calzaghe & him kd Calzaghe was partially why I thought he won(I thought it was the difference in the fight)
