      Fury-Wilder III winner vs. Whyte should be lined up for March to coincide with Usyk-Joshua II.

        Indeed, the WBC will mandate someone to fight the winner of Fury vs Wilder. If Whyte wins it should be him. He's been in/around the "mandatory" position for a long time. I don't think Whyte is a great fighter, but he keeps getting in with guys who aren't soft touches, Wallin included. If he wins, he's earned it. And at least he isn't boring, which Wallin is. If Wallin wins, I suppose he should get a crack, though.

        Who else in the top 10 (besides Usyk, obviously) would be more interesting see fight the winner? Whyte talks smack and has beef with Wilder for sure and probably Fury, too, which will make things interesting.

          Hahaha haha, they'll only order Whyte next if Fury wins. If Wilder wins, they'll have a 4th fight and the org will allow it.

            Ordering Whyte as a mandatory arguably brings that fight closer.

            The choice would be:
            • Fight Whyte (dangerous but low reward);
            • Be stripped of your title; or
            • Fight for Undisputed.

            Without the mandatory it's Undisputed or a voluntary of your choosing.

            We need mandatories to be ordered. That how we get big fights as opposed to processions.

            How long since we had a proper WBC mandatory? And Whyte is line.

              Sure that could certainly happen but it's not a certainty. Wallin may not have one shot power but he's a tricky and tough southpaw. If I was Whyte and near mandatory, I'd probably pull a Luis Ortiz and line up a fight against Alexander Flores to keep me busy.

                What many of you boxing fans are failing to realize is that Whyte is already the WBC's Heavyweight mandatory challenger. This Wallin fight is not like some type of title eliminator or something. Otto Wallin is just another one of your typical Dillian Whyte cherry picked opponents. He doesn't have to fight him in order to exercise his mandatory clause.

                    I will be surprised if Wilder wants a 4th fight if he loses badly . If Wilder wins it’s a real good bet it will be Ortiz 3 . And then he’ll hold that belt hostage for awhile and claim he’s the best while Fury cheated . A.J ,Usyk ,Hrgovic , Joyce ,they won’t be in a rush to fight any of these guys . They will fight Whyte if they actually do order it but ? Wallin isn’t a give me fight . I actually think he’s slightly favored here for me .
