Joshua was lit up like a Christmas tree but gave a valiant effort and landed several bombs just not enough to deter the gargantuan heart and will of usyk...

Let's all give credit where credit is due

Usyk beat an animal in there,a genetic freak with monstrous power ,great defense, timing and footwork

Joshua is great usyk is just an atg ...

Last night proves size doesn't matter

A prime clay would toy with today's heavyweights and wladimir

I guess we can all agree with that now
    No, not the 12th rd.

We were implying that rds 4-12 were even. AJ clearly lost the last rd.

I’d pick AJ to nick it in the rematch with a better coach. Hopefully the judges would be as fair as this one.

The rematch will show if AJ and his team have adjusted or not. Also, when a guy is constantly fighting the best out there, he's going to fail from time to time. If he sat back and fought the Seferis, Schwarz and Pianetas of the division, he would always look good. So we can all tip our hat to Usyk for now but he does have to beat AJ twice so we will see how it goes then
100 percent right ,aj has always tested himself unlike fury who ****rides his own win over way past it wlad who looked abysmal in his fight just before the fury fight....

Then he ducks a rematch and retires at the time at the thought of fighting someone young and hungry like deontay or Joshua...fury is the mentally weakest champion to ever claim greatness

He also likes to big up his win against wilder as some sort of epic George foreman win in Zaire when in fact he only started boxing at 25 and got out boxed by the smaller and older ortiz

fury may beat usyk because of sheer size but I think Joshua would have made a fight with him and fury far more dramatic

This division is mediocre at best

Fury and Usyk have nothing in common. One has great foot work moving forward - the other uses bully tactics going on the front foot. Fury’s foot work is for his back foot.

Have you ever tried to box someone a few weight divisions below ..believe it or not most people like fighting someone bigger as the speed differential it so frustrating ...you may be able to nail someone smaller with one punch but if they're handy and know what they're doing it's a lot harder to land than on someone bigger or same sized

Especially when they're giving something back that's hurting

His biggest flaw is his corner. Then his mentality.
He started going to the body because he couldnt land anywhere else. Hardly an adjustment...and that effectiveness lasted..what, 1 or 2 rounds ??

AJ is a checkers player playing a chess player. That was clear from first few rounds.

AJs best chance was to impose his size and stength BEFORE Usyk could adjust and counter

To me, Joshua looks like he doesn't really want to be there, look at his face, he looks like he's taking a long, painful s***

Compare that to Tyson Fury who even when he was fighting Wallin with one eye hanging out, he was absolutely loving it! Guys like Usyk and Fury were born to be boxers from day 1 and it tells.

Usyk was spectacular last night and there's no shame that Joshua lost him tbh.

I agree with most of your points, he defo needs to change trainer and gym. Maybe move to Shane McGuigan and learn to fight with a more relaxed slick style like Okolie did.
You commended him for taking risky fights unlike Fury yesterday. And want Fury to do the same. But today’s you’re claiming it’s matchmaking.

Okolie is raw and terrible. He’s yet to fight anyone and he’s lucky he’s in a very weak division where he can use his rangy style to win fight. He’ll get knocked out once he fights someone who can get past his rangy style. And he freezes like Bruno every time he gets hit.

Shane can’t teach AJ anything - British trainers are terrible. You can’t have two weight lifters as a coach and a boxer in the same gym. AJ needs an American coach - they will fix his stamina, mentality and make him use his best attributes.

And the body shots he landed mid rounds you could hear through the crowd and over the loud British commentators and if you knew boxing you would have seen how hurt usyk was from those body punches ..usyk was hurt several times he just has atg will heart and desire something you obviously know nothing off ..if you can't see it you are oblivious because you have nothing in common with it ...you just expect fighters to take those shots and recover if they did....

If that was anyone else in there including fury taking the punches Joshua landed on usyk it would have been far more dramatic just a shame usyk handled it so well and hid it so well

Any decent cruiser?? Are we talking Steve cunningham in his prime or ???

You know **** all about boxing ..last night was a great night for boxing and has put usyk into the upper echelon

Joshua wasn't himself is that what you are implying... did you see the fight going exactly this way beforehand?
Yes i saw the fight going this way. It was ****ing obvious. I've never rated Joshua but he looked even worse because he's been spending the last two years on this bum ass "elite boxer" crusade. He dropped weight too quick and hadn't remotely acclimatised to his new slimmer self. Usyk has a solid chin but he looked visibly troubled by Chisora. He's not invincible. Joshua was just too sluggish to make any real difference.

He should have done all of that before the Ruiz fight. Like you say boxing is mental, I don't think he can get his killer instinct back, it's too much fear of being stopped again, he should have conquered that fear in the rematch instead of reinforcing it.

Lastly Joshua too old to change temperament. This just who he is, he can try to change styles but not his temperament. He is a nice guy. His stance outside the ring imo ain't no big deal, at the end of the day he black nothing wrong with being pro.black cuz that's what's you feel in your heart and taking the white man money lmao....

Joshua still a top heavyweight, but always was vulnerable even in his mental prime you can say.

This why if I were you I wouldn't keep talking shyt about Fury and Wilder cuz it's gonna look really bad if he loses to both, which is a strong possibilty based on his limited skill and lack of fire he once had. Imagine getting KOed by a bum ass "dosser".
