sigh... I mean yes, it is a weak division. But Usyk would be a great heavyweight in any period of time, much like Tunney was. Both men were supreme cruisers, who could win fights at heavyweight against the best of them. AJ and Ruiz have talents but, there are a lot of flaws they have to overcome and they are not getting younger. Fury is another outstanding talent and could fight in any era. Like Usyk Fury has skills developed from a young age, which is how fighters used to train. Wilder has that punch and as a whole, is actually more athletic than many other punchers, but would get eaten alive in eras where guys had more skills and could fight from all ranges.

The rest of the division is really weak, and it never mattered much that AJ fought the better of the weak competition. But it is a true statement that AJ has fought the best competition in the division... now that he lost to Usyk.

People have got to look at how Usyk fought BEFORE he fought Chisora, and follow the adjustments he made after that fight... Then one can see how great a fighter he really is.

Lmfao his eye is fine. Jesus “broken eye socket” is the new out for British fighters. He took a straight left to the eye, it swelled up and they kept the swelling down. He’s fine.

None of the heavyweights are dominant. They are not that good and have flaws. Anyone of the top heavyweights can lose on any given night - Wilder, Fury, Joshua, etc.. There is nowhere for Joshua to go.....he needs to take the rematch immediately. He's not going to get any better, just worse. He doesn't need to risk losing another fight. There is money in a rematch - almost 70K was in attendance for this fight. Perhaps instead of trying to outbox Usyk, Joshua should try to impose his will, size, and power.....to try to KO Usyk. There is no need to avoid the rematch.

Usyk won fair and square but he's a small light hitting heavyweight. Fury has the perfect style, and size, to beat Usyk quite handily.
The HW is a weak division as soon as no brit or us boxer is at the top. Let's wait for the Usyk vs Fury. The HW is about to hit the rock bottom.

The division is not weak. The commercial product catered to the us / uk paying fan base as a supposedly real deal has crumbled once again, so what? Caught by a surprise? Grow up, smarten up. Stop the no sense.

AJ needs to chill, takes some time off, maybe a whole year, come to his senses, let his eye heal, fire his trainer and hire the ghost of Emmanuel Steward. Then he should run through 3-4 tune ups to iron out his new redeveloped style, and only then should he seek a big title fight. Otherwise its going to be Groundhog Day.

Usyk's movement and speed/stamina was what made Joshua look bad. He wasn't able to use his power and was forced to box against a much better boxer.
