Same to you pal. Yeah I know what you mean lol.

Just like I expected and called for Ortiz to step it up you do the same. Like tell me why is he trying to fight a retired 43yr old who hasn't fought let alone looked good in years? Call for Joyce to fight the guys he should be! Fight AJ vs Usyk winner, Fury vs Wilder winner, Yoka, etc etc
      Stop calling out old men.

Ortiz is so old in a few years he'll probably be coming out of retirement for a Youtuber to knock out lol
"Yet, Ortiz fights garbage? OK then"

Now you're contradicting yourself. On the very same page 4 of this thread. Damn. What is it about this joke you like so much you'll defend this madness?

Your resume is about who you beat. Not who you fought and lost to.

The Dubois win is better than the entire resume of Ortiz. He also has Jennings himself, and Takam. Remember, he's only had 13 fights. Not the amount Ortiz has.

Ortiz was just 1 of the fighters he was looking to fight. He wants to be out before the end of the year. The AJ/Usyk winner won't be fighting until next year. Then if AJ comes through, he'll be going for the WBC unification for the 100th time if they don't keep on running from him. The Fury/Wilder winner should hopefully be doing the same. So it can't be any of them 4.

He's already fought a big prospect in Dubois. We don't need the next generation knocking each other off before moving towards the titles. That is silly.

Joyce turned to boxing really late. He does not have an insane amateur career. Were did you hear that?

Asking for a couple more fights was waiting for him to be in a retirement home? So Joyce should jump to the tune of Ortiz and benefit him to the detriment of Joyce? Maybe those who have their pro debut should fight the champ because he wants it?

Joyce is just looking for an opponent. Ortiz was one of them. But before, it was "Why aren't they fighting Ortiz" even though many wanted to. It was Ortiz and his team that were messing about all the time. But now it's "Leave him alone, he's a gentle man and not here to fight". Make up your minds will you.

Joyce has still only had 13 fights. Is that too experienced for you? Haha. Ortiz seems about right for Joyce. But not according to you. So, who should Ortiz fight then?

Who should Joyce fight? And who would take it? He's already beaten Dubois.

Again he was no ordinary prospect he was an amateur standout and had multiple fights in the WSB which is practically pro boxing.
He was on the GB squad for Christ knows how many years and won a gold medal, umpteen national championships and medalled at the worlds and olympics (should have won gold) among several other top tournaments. He boxed at the highest level as an amateur for nearly a decade!
He is a more decorated amateur than Ortiz by far.
He's been sparring the best amateurs and pros in the world nonstop since he started boxing.

A couple more fights? He has waited nearly 3years and Ortiz was already old as dirt and coming off a brutal K.O loss

All this success and aged 34 himself yet needs more experience *rolls eyes*

I don't care to see Ortiz fight he is nearly 43, truth be told I don't want to see him fight again, its just sad.

As for Joyce he is no spring chicken himself he ought to get a move on and fight someone with a pulse. I don't care to see these prospects/contenders in their peaks fighting 42yr old Povetkins and Ortiz, etc
They get no respect from me. Wow you beat a 42/42yr old, a decade past his prime, big deal.

Are you a Brit? You sound very much like a Wilder fan. I just need to make sure.
He’s clearly from Coventry. We don’t consider that part of England

I've already told you that after the couple of fights, both had other fighters they fought. Ortiz was dealing with Wilder. Joyce was just building his name and getting experience.

Joyce had his first amateur fight in 2011. It is now 2021. That is 10 years amateur and pro experience. You really should do your homework. Most fighters have that kind of time before even doing anything in the amateur code, let alone it being your WHOLE amateur and pro time.

You can't cherry pick a stand in. Not when you've offered the fight to the supposed "Boogieman" and he turns it down amongst others.

AJ has been seen many times since the first Ruiz fight. He's fighting this weekend. 70'000 tickets were sold in double quick time. Like they always are.

Stay being bitter and slandering. At no point will it change the fact your hero Parker was beaten.
Whyte was offered fight as well, and he ran like a true coward... lol biggest duck in history.

Joyce, Ruiz, and Whyte have all run and ducked from Ortiz. He’s older but he’s damn good and a mean bastard . People say he ducked AJ- he didn’t, he got more $$$ to fight Wilder. I believe Ortiz is top 3-5 with two of the sanctioning belts so eventually these guys can’t run. Ever notice how Ruiz and Whyte fight the same bums? Always names you know but not in the top 20

"Luis ‘King Kong’ Ortiz has never turned down a fight in his life"

He must have had very few fight offers. The guy has fought once in 22 months.
