Joe Joyce is a damn liar; he doesn't want that smoke, period! If that is the case, then fight him now.

Maybe agent didnt tell ortiz again about the offer cause thought was to low or such like what did with the aj offer for sub in instead of ruiz. Im sure ortiz being dodged dude legit beat wilder every round til got cracked but everything wilder lands flush on drops even fury landed flush first fight fury was down the same way ortiz was in 2nd fight yet allowed to continue. I see ortiz beating ruiz n joyce lose to aj but great fight lose to fury but 50/50 whyte

Ortiz and his team always waiting to be made an offer. I have never heard of his team make any offer to other professional boxers.

Both fighters are now available. Sign that contract and let's get it on. I like
            Ortiz by late KO!

If Joyce wants to fight Ortiz, door is open ....
Ortiz and his team are pbc puppets. They have no mind of their own.

                Ortiz wants that work, Joyce.

                Give it to him.

As usual everyone but Wilder is terrified of the 50 year old boogeyman whos career defining win was Bryant Jennings 6 years ago.

Wow, Joe is acting more like a rejected version of the female ‘Joyce’ part of his name. Him and his team is coming with the reverse psychology to set fan girl frenzy ablaze! Joe was the one who didn’t want to fight Ortiz, but claims the reverse?!?….

Fan girl frenzy will be rife with delusional supporters now; Joyce jabbed to death the hyper young eye of an inexperienced kid in Dubois; but Dubois was indeed brave enough for the challenge. Does Joe think his EXCUSE of inexperience to AVOID Ortiz should be overlooked?!? Joe STILL has a beginner number of fights, so I guess his fan girls will use that excuse “appropriately” if he wins or loses ANY upcoming fights…

Team Joycelyn wants to push their own reverse cornball of a narrative!?! Especially with his LIE and delusional belief that the OLD proficient southpaw Ortiz was/would somehow be scared of his decent but molasses slow jab?!?

Ortiz would give Joe problems NOW; so I guess it’s a good strategy for Team Joyce to get delusional fan girls on board NOW to help hide his reverse strategy.…and ducking efforts…

With just 13 fights I guess Joe has to “wait” again before he’ll be ready for the likes of Wilder, Fury, Usyk and Joshua?!?!…..WOW! Joycelyn got the greatest fans next to Fury: The Leaning Tower of Postponement himself……Boy oh boy, I hope old man Ortiz calls this guy (Joe) out.

Ortiz is not quite marketable. This could be because he ain't quite charismatic as a personality, he doesn't speak any English, and he is Cuban so neither the Whites, Mexicans, or Blacks are behind him. With this, he may have limited options of making offers and is dependant more on others making him the offers. He cannot headline his own fights and usually fights on the undercard.

PBC can arrange fights for him but why would they go for a Brit? Perhaps a Ruiz or Arreola fight could be next. And at 42, it will require a lot of motivation to go through the rigorous process of fight camp. Perhaps he has one or two fights left in him if he can get a decent offer. I think he already stated that he fights for his daughter (medical bills), not for fame or wealth. Otherwise, the two Wilder fights have him set for life as I don't think he is a big spender. Here's what he said:

"It’s very hard for me to do both things — to box and care for my family,” Ortiz admitted. “I have to train for a fight and care for my daughter. Right before I left, she tripped herself and is so used to saying, ‘Papi, hold me down while mom dresses me,’ because that’s what she’s used to … but I had to leave."

Few people know of the hardships Ortiz and his family had to suffer to defect from Cuba and land in the US. Ortiz had to walk for two days and was separated from his wife for more than 2 years. He may not have a solid background and circle of friends in the US to make independent decisions like most other boxers. His daughter suffers from a rare skin disease that causes a lot of pain. So, at 42 I don't think he is fighting for fun or he wants to achieve something. He's careful about maintaining what is left of his name so he can possibly land one more big fight to pay for the treatment of his daughter.
