ortiz couldn't fight AJ because Hearn didn't want to give him time to prepare for the fight.

Ortiz is 100 years old and probably needs a full 4 month camp, and cycle of steroids. But Hearn always trying to get the weakest most unprepared fighters for AJ.

If Joyce wants to fight Ortiz, door is open ....

Ortiz is on record saying he would step in if anything happened to Miller, something happened, they ducked and made a comical list of face saving excuses.

Plus he failed a drug test back in 2017 and got himself removed from the rankings, he’s had 2 chances to get an AJ fight and either he or his team ****ed it up.

He and his team already turned down a fight with Ortiz. Abel Sanchez is on record saying they turned it down and Joyce wasn't ready.

Sanchez just co signed and said Joe wasn't ready to step up so soon and needed a few more fights before he does.

So you don't think anyone should look to fight Ortiz as it isn't "Brave" to do so? I guess he should retire then.

I like how everyone forgets and is basically praising Joyce going on like he's this boogeyman now he feels Ortiz is there for the taking.

They didn't actually turn down anything. You can only do so if an offer is on the table from Ortiz' side. Which there wasn't. It was just talk and such. Nothing more.

Typically in life it tends to be the liars who accuse people of lying. Ortiz certainly has some serious previous. Has he not learned to keep his mouth shut yet?

That's right, I remember now, then AJ found his 4th choice cherry pick, and chose a morbidly obese 30 something ranked midget Mexican to fight.

The Mexican beat him so bad, he quit in the 7th, and ran back to the uk never to be seen again. He's still known as Anthony quitter Johnson in America to this day....

Ruiz was actually the second pick after Ortiz yet again turned the fight down.

You can't cherry pick a stand in. Not when you've offered the fight to the supposed "Boogieman" and he turns it down amongst others.

AJ has been seen many times since the first Ruiz fight. He's fighting this weekend. 70'000 tickets were sold in double quick time. Like they always are.

They're the ones who covered the Wilder/Ortiz 2 fight when Espinoza passed it on to FOX.

He had around 10 pro fights and an insane amateur pedigree and experience in WSB. How many more fights does one need? Need more fights no you just want to make sure the ****ers in a retirement home before you find your balls.

He practically is retired he's nearing 43 and had 1 fight/fought 1 round in about 2 maybe 3 years. Who gives a **** about this fight at the back end of 2021 really?

Why is he trying to fight guys at this stage of his career, fights btw you lot were claiming was 50 odd a good 7-8 years back? What am I supposed to be impressed by calling out an oap with a heart condition?

Show the receipts if there was an actual offer presented. I remember over a year ago when Joyce's team said they wanted Ortiz, Ortiz said "let's go" then they backtracked on Joyce's side. Did Ortiz fire Decubas after the whole AJ debacle? Cause they definitely turned down that fight
