Rematch AJ didn't hold the division up. He lost but then won his belts back. That's still 2 fights that happened for fans to enjoy. He then fought Pulev and is on the verge of the Usyk fight. Rematch Fury has tried to get out of the rematch clause that he wanted and then we've had to wait on it going through the court. He should just have fought Wilder at the end of last year and this would have been long done. It wasn't his promoters who decided not to do 3rd Wilder fight, it was Fury. Now we're in the mess we're in. Rematch clause AJ has promoters also and he's not being held back from fighting. Oh wait, he is a bit as he would have fought Usyk back in the spring if it weren't for, No defence Fury ****ing up the whole division. Tells the truth UK.

I don't know where you got the idea from that it was Fury's fault the fight didn't happen last year. He was in camp training for it with Sugar Hill and the media was full of reports of Fury repeatedly calling Wilder out and urging him to come out of hiding so they could get it on.

Wilder disappeared after losing his title and wasn't seen or heard from again till the middle of November. In his first interview since re-appearing he claimed he'd had surgery on an arm injury and hadn't been able to train until October. And in that same interview he said he was planning to fight someone else before Fury, possibly Helenius.

I agree that a further delay should have him stripped but Wilder needs to be 1 of the ppl fighting for that vacant belt. Wilder v the highest ranked WBC guy..

That depends on who causes the delay. If Wilder is ready to fight and Fury isn't, then look at stripping him. Wilder and Whyte are the 2 highest ranked contenders. Whyte would love to fight Wilder for the title, it's a fight he's been chasing for years. But would Wilder fight him? Going by Wilder's past behaviour, probably not.

He's defending in October against an opponent who would lay Shyte flat out.

For the record, if Fury doesn't fight in October then yeah, strip him.

It that does happen, the top contenders should fight for the title, it shouldn't just be awarded to Shyte like your man crush Eddie Hearn wants.
