Your photo of Canelo in your Sig is amazing. That dude has a huge hammer in his pants. Long, thick, prolly uncut beauty of a hammer.

I couldn’t hang with him in the ring. But I’d love to battle him in a kok off to see who’s hammer is bigger, thicker, and more attractive.

If the young man holds a major belt then he has to walk the walk. This is why I'm such a huge fan of Stevenson. He wants them all cuz he knows he'd box circles around these dudes.

Boxing is not Tennis. There is little possibility of a Tennis player get a concussion, brain injury, or death, in a match.

Is there any other pro sport that can match the rate of brain injury, trauma, mental illness and life-risking?

Pushing a fighter to skip the part where he develops, can lead to serious injuries due to that fighter being inexperienced.

Just this week, a boxer died. What was the issue? She did not belong in that ring to begin with.

I doubt any of you care though.

This generation think you supposed to wait until age 35 to step up
So you just named unique ATG’s.

Their careers were special because of that.

Real “fans”. Exactly, fans. None of you are fighters. A lot of you would probably gassed before 3 rounds.

This generation, my ass. Developing and gradually moving fighters slowly was done in any generation of modern boxing.

Developing their skills, yes. Moving them up in difficulty, yes

But it's been getting more and more important to develop their profile and brand. We've got fighters with long, massively padded records just because they have the style to be a star.

And it culminates in the kind of stuff we're seeing now, where promoters just go and grab people who already have profile and put them in the ring. It's easier than actually developing a fighter and has an immediate return.

Casuals think losses ruin fighter`s career.

The opposite. Monzon had many draws and 3 losses before he became lineal middleweight champ and he never lost his world titles in the ring.

Vitali lost by an ugly stoppage to Lennox Lewis. Became WBC champ later, he didn`t lose any fight ever again.

Vladimir had 3 KO losses when he was in his prime. He barely lost a round in next 10 years championship fighting.

Canelo was schooled by Floyd when he was young. He never lost any fight since then and fans don`t even believe anybody beats him.

Pacquiao already had 2 KO losses when he was 20. he is one of the biggest boxing names in last 20 years.

If you are good , one loss won˙t ruin your career.

If you are average, losses to average guys help you to find your level.

It used to be normal for young fighters, guys under 25 to step up.

Look at all the greats and many others.

Tyson, Ali, SRL, Canelo, Floyd, look where they were in their early 20s.

Now look at a lot of guys these days who are 30 and still fought nobody. its crazy the amount of fighters 30-35 that never fought anybody and that we have divisions with two or three guys in their 30s in the same division that dont fight each other.

What if Tito, DLH and Mosley all just chilled at 147 until 33 before they fought each other. that is what they do today

SRL was 24 in Montreal when Duran beat him. Duran was 29 and already a legend. Now 24 old guys are carried like youngsters and 29 old guys pick their first world title.
