Why were 90s heavyweights so muscular and able to block punches with their faces?

Dude, you need to stop with this 'AJ's obsession to be super light' nonsense.
I already told you, he dropped more weight between Takam and Parker that Ruiz 1 and 2. He was then heavier against Pulev than Ruiz 2.
Your theory has been debunked.Comment

Of course they are.
LMAO. AJ's chest and shoulders aren't as big as Lennox's.

AJ just has more definition due to having less body fat. More definition doesn't mean bigger.
And Lennox made a transformation within two years.
This was Lennox before Emanuel Steward and the diet.

Compare that picture to AJ at the Olympics in 2012 before turning pro

Stop deluding yourself. Joshua is far more muscular than Lewis ever was. Should i post pics of Joshua before? Far bigger transformation. You are making an argument that Joshua is on roids with this thread. But you can't see that.Comment

Post a pic where Lewis looks anywhere close to this muscular.

You’re grasping at straws here.
What before pic of AJ do you want to post apart from the Olympics one? The viral 2009 one when he just started boxing and wasn’t lifting weights?
I posted a pic of AJ before he turned pro which is comparable to the pic of Lennox that I posted when he was already a pro. The onus on you to explain how Lennox was able to transform the way he did in 2yrs under Emanuel Steward.
I know that type of transformation is impossible without gear.

This guy posted a pic boosted by lightning.
Post a pic from the same day without dark lighting.
I reiterate: AJ has never had bigger shoulders and chest than Lennox Lewis. He just has bigger arms and quads. And that’s because he lifts weights. Lennox on the other hand never lifted that much weights but got huge within 2 yrs.
I’ve seen AJ and Whyte lift weights live (separately) and both can bench 220kg easily. It’s obvious you’ll get big if you lift heavy. Lennox never lifted that much but got big. How did it happen?
And AJ has less body fat hence the abs - common sense.
Also, we have seen Josh’s dad and how naturally muscular he’s. So apart from the other pointers: we know it’s genetics. Post a pic of Lennox’s dad.

you guys are delusional if you think ped use just stopped. its more advanced than ever.
90s was just wild west days where there was no testing and they did simple cycles. those cycles and dosing strategies came from bodybuilders who had the most history and experience with anabolics. that is why they all looked so jacked because they were running cycles that the bodybuilders used.
More testing meant they had to learn more about PEDs and look for things that would give them the best benefit for the risk. You had things like EPO which wasnt even a steroid but huge for an endurance sport like boxing.
Heavyweight got fatter but they havent stopped peds. Tyson Fury and James Toney were confirmed positive for anabolic steroids. Look at their fat asses. You cant rule out use of PEDs based on physique. Youre also delusional if you think AJ isnt on peds like everyone else.Comment

Joshua is on peds
Tua was all natural
Tua fans liked Tua because he came to fight even though sometimes out of shape
Joshua fans likes him because they're gay and wanna suck him offComment

The only drug the op wants Joshua on is viagara
You can tell he wants aj inside himComment

The same kiwi Tua that had big quad in a country where people are known to be genetically fat?
Without PED, Tua would’ve been another Andy Ruiz - a morbidly obese burrito.
