The 90s was the era when PED use in sports was at an all time high and no sport was left out including muscular track and field athletes.
Sadly, the boxers weren't left out as well as most of them were extremely muscular.
That was also the era where where boxers left the ring with their faces smashed to bits (something you hardly see today) due to blocking their faces with punches hence a lot of them still have smashed faces until today.
Boxers of this era get a lot of stick but when you see how muscular Ruddock, Bruno, Holyfield, Lennox Lewis (after he teamed up with Emanuel Steward), Tyson, Holyfield, Grant, Tua, Ibeabuchi, etc. looked - you'd see that today's boxers look fat in comparison. And it also exemplifies why nostalgia is a terrible drug.
