The report says it's a retinal detachment/break which is the general term for this type of inury. It says nothing of the severity of the injury. Y'all are jumping the gun wishing this man's career over and I'm legit confused as to how we got here.

Detached sucks, hopefully he can make a come back. Abner Mares did and Errol Spence doctor is the same as Mares went to and still goes to so Mares is happy with the doctors work.

A tear and detachment are 2 totally different medical terms. Anyhow, I am not here to break anyone down or jumping the gun on anything.
I hope he recovers well and praying for the family. Please don’t put me in with the list of crap posters on here that just try to get a rise from anyone they can.
No reason for you to be “legit confused “ at all my friend. Maybe with another poster, but not me sir!

A tear is the same thing as a break. A detachment is a more severe injury but even that has degrees and different types. Once again, you're jumping the gun not knowing at all what you're talking about. Chill. Wish this man well and stop talking about his career being over.

stop it!! according to them, you are acting childish for doing what they did to kell brook..

Relax, it’s not over for Spence.

he just needs to heal. I see him coming back for a Fight in December the earliest or in the Spring time.

This is assuming Pac takes care of business..
Even if he miraculously heal over a detached retina.

                Spence is damaged goods.

I don't even care if Pac fights Spence ever again.

                Spence dropped the ball Bigtime.

That dude is a broken vase.. You can put him back together but won't ever be the same..

Not to mention the PTSD syndrome Spence will have to carry every time he steps in the ring.. He'll lose the edge that made him who he once was..

It's amazing that Pacman has been fighting since 1995 and still a 100x a tougher fighter than this so-called young lions this days. This black American boxers are bunch of weaklings to be honest and yet their fans have the guts to criticize Pacman's accomplishments.

                    It's detached buddy. Keep up.

https://twitter.com/MikeCoppinger/status/1427737164775837704?s=20 Wow, so it was a retinal detachment. That's the injury that has killed plenty of careers or impacted them in big ways. I think there is a solid chance he never returns to the ring, or if he does, it is after a long break. Best wishes to him and his family!

That's what separates the men from the boys.

You got to be extra special to be an ATG.

They are built tough like a FORD pick-up.
