Nah it hasn't been that in years. Maybe before. Now it's exactly as he says...a cesspool.

Spence is officially Thurman. The curse of fighting Porter and Garsh. Surprised they let him keep his belt(s), he should take atleast a year off.

fighters ahve come back. that said, it's a terrible injury and he's well within his right to hang up his gloves. you can go blind. mike bisping went blind in one eye from a retinal detachment. same with harry greb. retinal detachment nearly ended ray leonard's career, too.

keep in mind also that spence was in a horrible car accident and by all accounts had to rehab a severe back injury and get his face stiched back together. he's had long layoffs and he's been plagued by injuries. he fights so infrequently you forget that he's been a pro for 10 years. guy has fought six times since '16.

he's made a ton of money and al haymon fighters are well advised and usually have money invested. he's not bonehead broner with a zillion babies with different women, a dozen cases, and debt.

if he retires i wish him all the best. very good fighter, could have maybe been great, but he had a very short career.

was hopiung to see him fight crawford in their primes. t hey're the two best fighters in the same general weight class since floyd and manny.
