You don't think it's telling that damn near no1 agrees with you? I mean no1 is even invested in these two fighters like that. It was a pretty clear robbery. Not even sure what you're trying to argue here.

Look at the stats for round 2. Only a 3 punch edge for Fox ?

Maestre was badly hurt and went into survival mode for 2/3 of the round. I doubt he landed anywhere near the number of punches that Fox landed in that round. Meastre was hitting air all night. He looked like a tired, wounded dog in round 8. I thought he was about to get stopped soon at that point in the fight. He was aggressive through much of the fight but it was very ineffective aggression and he was getting picked off frequently by Fox.
Off nothing but weak, range finder jabs?

Dude... It's like people got straight blinded by his flashiness.

This mofo didn't do a damn thing. It was like watching Erislandy Lara on 2x speed but with way less accuracy. The dude was missing, bro.

That's because NSB is inconsistent with how they treat jabs.

If a guy throws a lot of fast jabs and moves he's dominant even when he isn't landing half of nothing.

You guys fell for the okie-doke of a flashy fighter. That's what that is brother.

You know what else it reminded me of? De La Hoya / Whitaker. And we know how that went.

What's the consensus scorecard that most have? Really 11-1 for Fox like what the unofficial scorecard guy had on the broadcast?

If anyone has some time on hand, I would like to know how they scored round 1,6,10,11,12 (preferable with a note whether it was a clear or close round).

again, before someone says otherwise, I had Fox winning but he definitely slowed down in the last 3 rounds and maestre pushed the pace hard enough to win r6. It wasnt a 11-1 wash to me.

not trolling or something. But I am closer to the 6-6 plus knockdown card than the 11-1 from the fox team. I feel like after he outboxed maestre through most of the fight and then hurt him in r9, the broadcast team didnt pay attention anymore when maestre fought with more urgency from r10 onwards.

You talk like NSB is a collective mind as opposed to a collection of individuals. Different people will have different preferences on how to score a fight. When the collective agrees that someone should have won but didn't (i.e. "robbed"), it's not an overreaction or inconsistency. Your contrarian view is the hot take, not ours.

Just say “I scored it for the PBC fighter” at least this is a diversion from your Terence Crawford obsession.

As I wrote elsewhere, I have seen worse robberies.

Forgetting about the obviously biased 117-110 card, Fox won perhaps by one or even two points considering the knockdown.

This is a classic case of frequently ineffective pressure (Maestre) vs "I-am-winning-so-who-cares-about-committing-more" (Fox). The latter's attitude doesn't sit well with attack-oriented judges.

So, 91 power shots landed isn't a damned thing? It's 12 less than Maestre landed. Who took more damage between the two? Maestre. If you can't see that, I can't help you.
