    Jake Donovan:

“Nearly everyone who witnessed the bout had Fox winning with room to spare”

Well, everyone except for revelated and a racist judge.

A sanctioning body’s promise to clean up its titular mess has been met by the call to altogether clean up its act. The World Boxing Association (WBA) has come under fire in recent days, largely in part to the controversial verdict that took place on August 7 with its “interim” welterweight title at stake. Venezuela’s Gabriel Maestre (4-0, 3KOs)—a two-time Olympian who has been fast-tracked to title contention escaped with a highly questionable split decision draw over Mykal Fox in the chief support of a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox-televised tripleheader from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

All three (corrupt) judges gave Fox the 12th round.

      Revelated didn’t lol.

If he did, he would have scored the fight for Fox instead of as a draw.

What a loser. He had to give Maestre a round the judges who gave him 10 of 12 rounds didn’t give him just to even things up on his card.

You don't actually score round by round, each round as a separate fight , like you're supposed to and like I did.

Now it makes sense why you're so biased.
Nah, you're grasping at straws. You argue a point, then when I address it, you jump to something else, either misconstruing or ignoring my counterpoint. IE, you said that Fox didn't land anything and that he didn't do any damage to Maestre. When I pointed out the two stand out examples where he did, you act like that is all I'm considering as reasons for believing Fox won. You say that Maestre tore Fox up to the body, yet you completely ignore the fact that he locked Fox's head under his arm and illegally kidney punched him several times throughout. BTW, it was irresponsible of the ref not to warn Maestre even once about that.

Got it, so you automatically dismiss scoring punches (because they were scoring) because you didn't like the tactics.

          I'm clear.

Why don’t you explain how the judge who gave Fox 2 of 12 rounds gave him round 12 (along with the other judges and every human on planet earth) but you somehow didn’t?

Mykal Fox delivered the best performance of his career, yet still never stood a chance. The leading candidate for the 2021 Robbery of the Year took place this past Saturday live in primetime on Fox TV from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minneapolis. Fox was believed by the majority of viewers to have easily won a twelve-round decision over Venezuela’s Gabriel Maestre, only for judges Gloria Martinez Rizzo (117-110), John Mariano (115-112) and David Singh (114-113) to turn in scorecards suggesting they bore witness to a completely different fight.

“Fox was the majority winner in just the 2nd, 4th and 12th rounds.”

                      Bro that's what you said.

You completely ignored that Maestre outlanded Fox. Your reason "he was dirty" doesn't fly.

Like Paulie said, if the ref doesn't call it, it's legal. It's a fight. Combat.
