I’ve been boxing since I was 19 and I still box now. I just never took it seriously to try the amateur and pro route - both involves a lot of time and dedication I couldn’t give.
In the U.K. in the amateur ranks, you have to train 2 or 3 times a day. That’s too much hence I never bothered.Rockin'

I was an amateur for 1 year. Honestly i was terrible. my record was 5 w 4 losses . Football then took over and of course it was easier. LOL!RJJ-94-02=GOAT likes this.

Nash was a great amateur. He beat a boxer who boxed for England. Nash considered turning pro, but other things opened up for him and he decided he was best served just watching boxing, rather than fighting, even though he had great potential, Nash knows that he did the right thing. Nash has a great career, and boxing is still there for him to watch. But make no mistake, Nash was a force. Nash out.boxinglife8

Never boxed. Fought full contact Karate back in the day. I like to think I can commiserate with some when it comes to things like what it feels like to get punched in the face, got a few concussions, stitches, and of course the chrome bubbles that come when you take a good shot lol.Rockybigblower likes this.
