I’ve been boxing since I was 19 and I still box now. I just never took it seriously to try the amateur and pro route - both involves a lot of time and dedication I couldn’t give.

In the U.K. in the amateur ranks, you have to train 2 or 3 times a day. That’s too much hence I never bothered.

Hey you could do worse than 5-4. You could've been 2-7 or 0-9.

Nash was a great amateur. He beat a boxer who boxed for England. Nash considered turning pro, but other things opened up for him and he decided he was best served just watching boxing, rather than fighting, even though he had great potential, Nash knows that he did the right thing. Nash has a great career, and boxing is still there for him to watch. But make no mistake, Nash was a force. Nash out.

True. I had more of a pro style. I liked to fight on the insode. I fought at 141. I was 12 years old. Lifting weights for football took over real quick.

Never boxed. Fought full contact Karate back in the day. I like to think I can commiserate with some when it comes to things like what it feels like to get punched in the face, got a few concussions, stitches, and of course the chrome bubbles that come when you take a good shot lol.

                    be a man later.
