To quote author of this article, “Porter, 33, would be considered Crawford’s most formidable foe since the former undisputed junior welterweight champion moved up to welterweight three years ago”.

That staggering fact alone, is incredibly shocking. And when you take out Kell Brooks and Khan, you are left with Kavaliauskas and Benavidez. That’s a trash resume that people here seem to defend.
Those are solid wins, not defining wins though. Possibly stopping Porter is a statement. I think based off of Crawford's skill he can do so. He has that killer instinct. Or Shawn Porter can take him out and show Crawford wasn't as good as advertised. For me the stakes are high and would love to see this fight PPV or not. I have respect for both men. This fight answers a lot of questions.

Not very well. Just like Spence or davis can’t crack 400k ppvs yet the Paul brothers can do more than double that.

And Crawford will get paid twice, once from the purse bid winner (if it's not Top Rank) and second from Top Rank who has to honor the remaining financial of his contract once it expires in October.
you have said this in several threads, and you couldnt be more wrong. If Crawford has one more fight left on his contract, this would satisfy that, regardless of whether or not it goes to purse bid. He is not "getting paid twice" lol

Truthfully, if Crawford is really leaving Top Rank after this fight, then losing the purse bid to Matchroom or PBC would be the best possible outcome for Bob. He wuld probably get somewhere between 15% and 25% of Crawfords purse as the losing bidder, and would have ZERO liability for anything relating to this promotion.

Apparently 1 000 000 wasn't enough for Porter to lose to Bud.

Every world champion starts out the same way until they win a belt (or unify) and then they start building their legacy by fighting legit opponents and contenders.
Has Crawford done that since he beat Jeff Horn for the WBO belt?
So, Khan, Brooks, Benavidez and Kavaliuskas are comparable to Ken Norton, Frazier and Ali?

                  Is that what you’re saying?

And that’s precisely what we’ve all been waiting for the last three years. For Crawford to step up and show how good he truly is.
Here’s the thing, Porter beats him, and it’s over for Crawford.
