So if Floyd simply destroys JMM, does he have the upper hand on Pacquiao?

He didn't look that good at 150, watch the fight against Steve Forbes.

What fight do you think I'm talking about? He looked crisper, sharper and faster than he had in years, and like I said, fought 12 full rounds in pitching a virtual shutout of Forbes. Could have been because of who he was fighting, but it certainly didn't look like the weight was an issue. And I don't think weight would've been much of an issue at 47 if DLH would've rehydrated more. Still a good performance by Pac considering he was jumping up two weight classes and DLH has never been shutout like that, even against Hopkins.

nah, keep the tissue in case of emergency

Oscar didn't even make the 150 weight limit he set up against forbes but forbes couldn't turn down that kind of money and fought him regardless.

How could welterweight be Oscar's best weight if he hadn't fought there in nine years?

That would be like saying Mayweather's best weight for his next fight is 130.

Many people disagree (myself included) that Oscar looked "very good" against Forbes. DLH got lit up by a light-punching JWW. Was his eye socket/orbital bone broken?

That one definately got me on the floor....

All my black and mexican co-workers (who are also die hard fight fans) just laughed at this....this is a boxing forum...not a try out for Def Comedy Jam.

Becuase he earned it? or because of the acknowledged skills that we already know he has?

Pacquiao was what #2 / #3 when Floyd retired...so it is known that Pac "earned" that slot as he was still so jab-jab-left until the 2nd Morales fight. So a 1 dimensional fighter got that high on the list by fighting his way to the top. How will Floyd get to the top of YOUR list?
