Don't matter. Spence fought during COVID (Danny), Porter fought during COVID (Formella), etc etc etc.

As far as belt holders, only Crawford and Manny that seemed to have an issue.

LSC hasn't defended his FW title since Feb 2019 but the WBA haven't stripped him, Rigo got stripped for moving up for one fight, different rules for different fighters

WBA is trash, why would they expect anything from them? If Ugas wasn't with Haymon as well they would have reinstated Pac. They are in the pocket for PBC. Damn near all these bodies are alligned with one promoter or the other.

Is the is guy really Pacman promotion chairman? He is so unprofessional sometimes…. Anyways in regards to the WBA they are definitely terrible, can’t figure out who is worse, them or the WBC..

WBA is a joke, I know all sanctioning bodies are shady but the WBA takes it to another level. I wish fighters would just boycott this title and maybe it would go away, unfortunately athletes love trophies and titles so I don't ever see that happening.

If I entered the professional ranks tomorrow I would be among the minority of fighters without a title.

The WBA is a joke and they give away belts like candy.

In this specific instance, though, I think most people would agree that they gave Keef way too long. As we all know, two wrongs don't make a right, so just because they gave Keef too long doesn't mean they should automatically replicate that bad decision with another one for Manny.

Covid is something of a mitigating factor -- and I'd have thought maybe they'd have taken that into account -- but in terms of communication, it seems like it cuts both ways. If the WBA had known Pac had firm plans to defend in August, then I doubt they'd have stripped him. Sounds like Pac's team never told them about it -- mainly because they had plans to fight McGregor at one point.

I'm speculating, but the proposed fight with McGregor was probably the straw that broke the camel's bacl. When 2021 ticked around with Manny not having fought since July 2019 and openly talking about his plans to fight an MMA fighter, they probably thought it was time to take the belt back.

You could possibly get a future champion belt in your debut if you asked the right guy. I'm sure 1 of the orgs would make a title like that.
