If Calzaghe really wanted to become an ATG, he should of jumped some weight classes and took some chances.
This is foolishness. If a man dominates his weight class for years he should at the very least be considered an ATG. So when Vic Darchinen hangs his gloves up he wont be considered with high regards unless hes a f**kin WW.

Sven Ottke is as well. I rate Sven Ottke in the top 5 P4P of ALL time, anyone who thinks otherwise is just a racist.

Thats rediculous. So in your world, if in ten years, someone comes along and absolutely dominates a welterweight division littered with nobodies, they are an ATG?

                Don't worry, I don't have amnesia.

I was responding to the fact that you said if a man dominates his division for year, he should be atleast considered an ATG. There's holes in that because what you are saying it's'applicable to everyone, not just Calzaghe.

How can you put Lennox Lewis in the same sentence as Sven Ottke? Lennox Lewis is a true ATG, he fought in America and is a top 10 Heavyweight of all time. But since you put him in the same sentence as Sveen Ottke I'm presuming you think Lennox Lewis was also just a hyped up euro-bum right? this same goes for Nigel Benn.

Ontopic, Joe Calzaghe is an hall of famer but not an atg, and he is no way the best fighter from britain of all time.

Lewis is definitely an ATG. He fought the best fighters in his division. I'll never put Ottke in the league of lewis. But his career is comparable to Joe. so Ottke >= Joe.

Sorry for the confusion. I figured its rare that a guy can go 40 and 0 and not run across a couple of bad MF's. I would have been interested to see how he handled PWill or Dawson but I understand that he was getting up in age and everyone cant pull off a Bhop (75yr old main attraction)haha.
