I am white. I have said many positives about white fighters, from Hatton to Pavlik to Vitali.
I think Joe is a HOF, just not an ATG.

I base my opinions of boxers and their abilities on something OTHER than race.
    Unlike you.
Using that logic, you in fact, are the racist.

BHop in a nutshell. Great point.

Be thorough and say why he doesnt deserve it. I dont particularly care for Joe Louis' style but he was a winner and good at the way he did his thing. I was never high on DLH but he consistently won and faced good opponents. I dont think Hatton is a very good boxer skill-wise but he fought good comp and won 40 fights so I wont attack his fans for giving him an ATG nod. Well unless they diss one of my favs. U see the pattern Im making. Rhyme and reason.

If you ask me there are not many that have or ever will make as good of an exit as joe. I bet you can barely name 200 boxers let alone 100 that are better than Joe.

I guess I am racist then. I think if you are to become an ATG, you have to fight. The way I see it, Calzaghe took the easy way out. A lot of boxers dread the day they loose their first fight, and I think this is Calzaghes greatest fear. If Calzaghe really wanted to become an ATG, he should of jumped some weight classes and took some chances.

yeah, that's something for historians to do, but boxing has a long history. calz is overated and not that great.
