Clarence Thomas is a racist? **** off, he's just a black man with a different opinion.
And the whole point is to get out of the hood. Why would you go back? So you can get stuck up and robbed? Because that's what happens when you go back, you get jumped by a bunch of haters and jacked.
And I doubt Dwayne Wade rolling through the hood with that little phaggot family of his
Wow! What are you? Who are you? Clarence Thomas has a different opinion my fucking ass!. He is openly and obviously pandering to the white establishment in order to get ahead. He has benefited from the civil rights movement and affirmative action.
However, now he has rolled back those same gains that he has taken advantage of which is why he sits on the Supreme court today. He sold out by changing his views many years ago under the Reagan administration.
There is nothing wrong with reaching back and helping your own people by bringing them some hope and inspiration. The people I speak of are all role models.
Listen moron, the aim of going back to the hood is not to encourage them to stay there but to improve their lives. By stressing the need for education, owning black businesses and creating jobs.
At one point, I did had a modicum of respect for you before. However, not anymore. You are just another typical and certified dumbass to me now.
Until Joshua, I never knew that racism was even prevalent in the U.K until that Black Lives Matter rally. It took a lot of guts for what AJ did though. You call it virtue signaling. I call it balls. He called upon African and Caribbean Brits to boycott the same white corporations who sponsor him. Then he doubled down on it afterwards by saying "If you think I am racist then you can go fuck yourselves"
What does “old media” mean? In regards to racism in the U.K., it has a different origin story than does the USA because Britain never officially had a system of apartheid like the USA did and the U.K. turned on slavery earlier than the Americans due to efforts of men like Equiano and Wilberforce. But the U.K. has its history of race riots and massacres in the 1919 riots in places like Salford, Liverpool, Cardif, even Glasgow….this was long before the Windrush generation arrived after WWII, and all the way up to the Bradford riots etc and all pints in between. And this is just riots, racism in the U.K. has always been described as “institutional”….I can remember vividly that one of our US Army generals was requested by the British government to go to the U.K. and recommend implementations to basically desegregate the British Army and fox the issue of only whites making higher NCO and officer ranks. I also remember the Iron Lady herself referring to Mandela as a “*********.” Its a topic worth researching if you fancy that sort of thing. The difference though for the U.K. is there has always been blacks in the British lands going back to the Africans who came with the Roman legions. Africans have always been present to varying degrees. If you ever get to England I recommend you go to an outstanding museum called Yorvik in York (Yorvik was the Nordic name for York) it has a sections of history that speak to the racial and cultural diversity of York and other areas of the Danelaw era of England.

That's fine. You gonna go ahead and call everyone that disagrees with you a "black white supremacist" too? Thomas has explained time and time again why he is against Affermative Action, just like Thomas Sowell and many other prominent blacks. A differing opinion does not make them "racist." in fact, calling everyone a "racist" who has a different political ideology than yourself is the reason the word has lost all ****ing meaning. Thomas was completely railroaded by the entirely white ********ic caucus in an attempt to keep him from sitting on the bench, were they just looking out for the best interests of "real blacks" like yourself?
The only comparison that can be made between Ali and Wilder, is that Ali's treatment of Joe Frazier, and Wilder's treatment of Mark Breland, are both equally HORRIBLE! That's about it! No other comparison neither inside, nor outside the ring!

I also think it’s problematic to equate individuals political party affiliation or whether they sit on the left or the right side of the spectrum with whether or not they are racist. Because one is Labour/******** or Conservative/********** doesn’t automatically make them racist or non-racist that’s for sure.
This is an interesting view that society as a whole has on black men specifically…every group believes that black men should talk, behave, think a certain way and if they don’t they are somehow not really black or they are “racist” depending on where one sits on the political spectrum. This takes away the right of the individual to believe, say, believe what he wants. I doubt men like Malcom X would have agreed with the modern day ******* parties but I also think he would have had no use for Boris or The Donald either. But one thing is for sure, the poster who called wilder a “racist who appeals to other racists” is merely calling wilder a racist because he celebrates his culture and his history. I can make movies about and speak about the extremely difficultoqst ***s have had or native Americans have had and those who do are not called “racists”…..something for all to ponder about the obsession with black Americans that true racists have.
It’s worth noting that Ali was not loved by all when he was fighting. We look back on him with fondness but we have to remember that when Ali was fighting, he was called racial epithets, booed by many crowds in the USA, and often reviled by segments of society, sports journalists, politicians, and other groups. In regards to black Americans generally anyone who becomes some level of a spokesman for that demographic is generally considered “divisive”….Jim Brown, Muhammad Ali, Colin Kaepernick, Arthur Ashe (specifically in regards to his efforts against Nationalist Party Apartheid in South Africa), John Carlos etc etc. This isn’t in dispute. We saw that when Olafemi spoke out in favour of economic ascension for his group in the U.K., he got a very unsavoury response from a segment of society. Again, we have to tell all the story. I stopped counting how many times people on here have called Wilder a “racist” because he honoured American black history month and because he speaks out on what he and his group perceive as systemic racism. Generally when an athlete speaks out on this (and I didn’t even begin to name the many NBA players who do this) they become unpopular. Something to think about regarding the man from jerkwater Alabama….
My problems with your post and Wilder's ridiculous comments.
Muhammed Ali was a truly great human being. He did something truly brave in refusing the draft for conscientious reasons. He refused to be made a figurehead for something that he fundamentally disagreed with and he sacrificed and suffered for it, being stripped of the title and sentenced to jail. He aligned himself with the Nation of Islam which he realised would have had a huge impact on his marketability, public image and wealth. He did this because he believed it was the right thing to do.
He was also a staggeringly skilful and determined fighter and one took on challenges which people believed were unsurmountable and found a way to win (Liston & Foreman). Compare this to Wilder who has generally avoided real challenges throughout his career and padded his record at every opportunity.
To have Wilder spouting unsubstantiated crap and then equating himself to a genuine hero and campaigner for racial justice in Ali is actually disgusting. Genuinely, anger-inducing and sickening. What an absolute chump. He has cheapened one of the actual heroes of a cause which he supposedly cares about. When he was making an idiot of himself and disparaging Fury's win, calling him a cheat that was one thing. It was pretty pathetic but not especially disagreeable. Comparing himself to Ali for personal aggrandisement is beyond the pale.

I never thought Wilder's intro was racist at all, It was what it was. I just found it more eye rolling when 10 minutes had gone by, and he was still slowly walking to the ring. But I'm also the same guy complaining before every fight that 3 ****ing anthems aren't necessary. Just get the fight started.
Back to your original point though, it's censorship. They have basically labeled an entire subcategory of american blacks as not worthy of having an opinion because they don't agree. It used to be "you're not black enough" now it's literally "you're a black white supremacist." It does everyone a disservice to act like this. I heard a few months ago that there was a documentary called "Uncle Tom" about Black *************/the black conservative movement. It's been on my watch list, but since my son has been born I haven't had much time for movies or books like I used to. Also, you're entirely right, Malcolm, Martin, Etc. would have seen through that BS in a second. It's censorship, trying to silence the dissenters. Fred Hampton was getting people from all races together before he was killed.
