How many other fighters are selling 200k ppvs against an unknown. It is not like Tank is a household name either. KO's sell and if he continues doing the same against better opposition he will continue to grow.

Social media engagement. The biggest celebs always talking about the guy's fights. Youtube views on his fights are pretty massive. 400k ppv in his first 2 showings against fighters who aren't that well known by casual fans. Consistent sell outs for his fights. This is a niche sport after all and his profile is high.

Tank is one of the few Americans consistently selling over $1,000,000 gates.

Depends what you mean by "star". But in today's boxing world he's certainly one of the bigger draws out there.

200K in this ERA is probably as good as you're going to get considering how SH%T and Fickle Today's Boxing Fans are

If 200K is nothing then lets see others besides Canelo, Wider and Spence...do those numbers and better here in America if that number is not impressive. Also too you can tell really Draws because the ones who Draw stays on PPV while the ones who FLOP goes right back to fighting on the Network. So if Showtime is not happy with those numbers and if his event Flopped then he should be back on Showtime for his next fight right...which he likely won't be

                  Boxing star? Okay.

                  Star in general? Nope.

Is a likely 3M or close to a 3M gate good? What do you think?

Sure but he’s not a star.
