Whatever Golovkin had left of his prime was taken from him in the D-Chenko fight. He is approaching 40 and would have to move to 168 for a trilogy. I don’t see it happening.

Golovkin is still cutting 15lbs to make the scale. Not fighting at 168 is rather pathetic. Ideally guys his age would’ve already been at the highest weight ending his career. Why is he still draining for the scale. His skills have always been good enough to beat guys at 168. Better to go in the ring stronger and less deprived from a water cut.
