I mean what's the point, does either even have a belt?
Well, we know he's not getting $3 Million for Crawford. Shawn Porter is not getting $3 Million for Crawford! So Keith and Shawn will have a rematch, and get their $3 Million, and that's fine! My problem is that the winner of Thurman vs. Porter does not deserve a title shot anymore than Ennis or Ortiz (and i'll throw Ugas in there too)! That's where these sanctioning bodies need to step up their game! Thurman doesn't want to fight Ennis, nor Ortiz, I have no problem with that! I just don't want him to beat someone like Abel Ramos, and then get another title shot, before the young warriors do!

Boots would do more than just hurt him he would knock him out.

Ortiz is still a little green but he's definitely an attraction with his style . I would like to see him in with a former world champion and see how he does . teo went for it so I think its time the other young bucks stepped up

Thurman has had two fights in two years. Pretty soon, "One time" will be "Old Time".

I think Thurman is a terrific talent. I think he still is actually. I thought he looked pretty good in the back half of the Pacquiao fight. Outside of the round where Manny got him good to the body and hurt him (the 10th or the 11th if I recall correctly), he pretty much dominated the 2nd half of the fight. I thought he looked good. And sharp.

If he's training hard and staying sharp, I think he can be a very difficult out for anyone. But yeah, it just seems that he lost all of his hunger after the Porter fight. Injuries also played a factor I'm sure. It's just strange though -- he was on top of the world almost after the Garcia and Porter wins. Looked like the best was yet to come. But it looks like that was indeed the pinnacle of his career (that 2 fight stretch). Now it's just looks like he's trying to cash out.

Heres some fighters that would kick Thurmans ass that he hasnt heard of.
Rashidi Ellis, Blair Cobbs, Connor Benn, Eimantas Stanionis, Kudratillo Abdukakhorov, Abel Ramos. At this point he should be fighting Sebastian Formella if he wants to look competitive.

Keith Thurman is an eye test fighter. He doesn't need to fight the best or even fight at all. You just know he is the best welterweight by looking at him.
