Enjoyed watching the Thurman who beat Porter and Garcia, those days are behind him now though. Ennis and Ortiz are tough fights for him

I would honestly think there is more money in an Ortiz fight than there is against Garcia or Porter. Ortiz would sell out a good sized venue in Texas and people would tune in for that fight. I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch a rematch against porter or Garcia that’s for sure.
Neither Ortiz or Boots can guarantee Thurman 3 million, not sure either draw enough to generate 3 million combined. That said, why would Keith be remotely interested in fighting either for peanuts when he can fight Porter, Garcia or Crawford for many times more? I mean what's the point, does either even have a belt?Comment

if al haymon wants thurman/spence(provided spence beats pac of course) it will happen..regardless of what spence has said in the past.......so if youre thurman why would u want to fight ortiz or ennis if spence is a fight that you could have soon?Keef wants to wait around for the Spence-Pacquiao winner and neither wants to fight his sorry ass. Pac already beat him and Spence has put him in karma corner
. nobody wants to see him in rematches against Porter and Garcia unless its a undercard scrap on a bight fight bill
thurman is thurman...hes wasted prime years...has left alot to be desired no doubt.....but theres a guy thats been p4p rated for years now(keith isnt) named bud....and if but goes and fights zepeda or lopez the same crowd will say "bud cant help it nobody will fight him".....but why isnt the onus on him to go get an ortiz fight? it should be...instead of zepeda crap
stop reading into spence/thurman trash talk...if haymon wants that match up it will happen
in the mean time whats mr p4p bud crawford doing?Comment

When Spence says he doesn't like Thurman because he's a cornball etc, it's moments like this where I understand what he means.Comment

I think now it's good time for Keith to call it a career. He is done at the elite level. He has to understand that he is no longer at the top of the food chain in the welterweight division anymore. At this point, he is going to have take the fights that are available to him because he is titleless and not in demand. Just take the L out of lover. It's over brother. -Adrien BronerComment

now that you say broners name that is a good cash out fight for each of them, they can fight each other and still sell a bit. keith should fight broner and save the earnings and invest it, win loose or draw. because yes his career is over with 1 close win over a B level guy in 4 years, its done manComment

Damn! Didn't you see how clever that was? I was speaking it without even thinking it. That would be a good cash out fight for Keith Thurman. Also, it's winnable fight too because Broner is too gun shy to let his hands go.

Both Vergil Ortiz and Jaron "Boots " Ennis would shred Keith Thurman into shreds at this point of his career. Keith will be better off by avoiding both of them.Comment

If the sanctioning bodies had more balls, the sport would be better! Just look at 147! How long does Crawford have before he MUST fight his #1 contender? (Gary Russell Jr. at 126 is even worse!) His last fight was with washed up Kell Brook, in November of 2020! How long does Spence have to fight Kudratillo Abduqaxorov, the IBF #1 contender? He became the IBF #1 by winning an eliminator in 2019! I know Spence, at least has been in unification fights , but the rankings have been frozen for 2 years!!! I saved THE WORST for last! The WBA has FOUR title holders @ 147! Nobody has a clue who their mandatory is! There needs to be a much faster way for guys Like Ennis, Ortiz, James, and Stanionis, to get legit title shots! Champions either need to unify, or fight their mandatories, or vacate, and that whole process needs to be expedited! It's hard for me to imagine too many past greats (Ike Williams, Beau Jack, Charley Burley, archie moore, ezzard charles, curtis cokes, harold johnson, hopkins, hagler, Ali, duran, etc) saying they weren't interested in fighting someone else in their weight division. I mean, Ray Leonard ducked Aaron Pryor, but not too many of the great ones made a habit out of ducking other fighters. They had too much pride, and too much respect for the sport and the fans. They fought for glory and legacy as much as for money. Too many guys today are only trying to fight certain fighters, while avoiding others. This diva-like behavior waters down boxing and deprives fans who pay hard earned money to support these fighters, of seeing the best fight the best. And it also produces inferior, less seasoned fighters because it limits the competition, and limits the activity level of a modern fighters career. Meanwhile, the few throwbacks who truly want to fight any and everybody, like David Benavidez, and Jaron Ennis, are left waiting for somebody with balls to step up, while the rest fight more on the internet than they do in the ring
