You're right sort of. Wlad win is massive. No one could beat him. He's an ATG heavy.

Also the win he has over Wilder in their first fight is huge too because Fury was at like 50%. Massive cherrypick gone wrong. Wilder is a total bum though lol but he was undefeated and has huge power. A scary fight for any man coming back from inactivity, coke addiction and massive weight loss

His top end wins (ie Wlad and Wilder) are decent, especially when you put them in context ie he went into their territory and did it. But yeah his resume drops off fairly quickly after that.

The Bum is a **** win, but the win in the first fight is a great win because Wilder was undefeated and Fury was at 50%.

If Fury gets a win over Joshua, Joyce and Dubois and maybe Ajagba and some other knew blood heavies he will go down as best heavy ever. New school at heavy dominates the old because of size increasing

I love it when a guy who was a bum becomes a quality win once a guys favorite fighter beats him.
Shot Bert Cooper beats those guys.
There's no one anyone can beat in this pathetic HW era that will class them as an ATG. Maybe AT20's ?

            Edit
Not saying Fury is a favorite fighter of yours

Lol Bert Cooper was a cruiser at best. A lot of these heavies back in the day could boil down to light heavy. Most heavies from today destroy most heavies from the past because they are all 6 ft 4 and 230 pounds minimum you total and complete biased BUM

Those stiffs you have a hard on for would get annihilated vs a shot crack head Bert Cooper. Shot Jimmy Thunder would be a champ today.

Resume wise, I don't think there's anyone in the landscape that Fury could beat to make him an ATG. Becoming undisputed by beating AJ is great for his legacy but the competition just isn't there for an ATG status unless he has a Vlad like reign.

I think Fury would be a problem for any HW. Aside from his size, mobility and chin he has the smarts to adapt what he's doing as each fight demands. What he has lacked is one punch power which is why SugarHill's brief comment at the presser was interesting. If he's added that to his arsenal then he'd be competitive in any era.
