Fury beat Wlad, who was an 11 year unbeaten, unified Champion. He's beaten Wilder who was an unbeaten WBC champion, and undisputedly a monstrous puncher, whereas Mike Tyson beat a Light Heavyweight, Larry Holmes coming off two losses, and the Cocoon. I think I'll go with Fury! Nash out.

TRUE: I stand corrected. I'd agree with those.

Wouldn’t you say that beating the only heavyweights in your era that “matter”, matters?

Also, to hear many fans tell it, there have only been two heavyweight eras that weren’t “weak” (the 70’s and 90’s).

Let’s all be honest with ourselves, overrated or not, Floyd Patterson stands no chance against Tyson Fury.

          Let’s not be ridiculous.

There's some guys in Boxing History claiming that Fury would lose to Duran & Leonard.

These old fools don't have a clue, I feel that they're so blinded by their hatred for Fury including the OP, it blinds them when it comes to judging him as a boxer.

I dunno man, how many people even care that Ali beat Terrell, Williams, Folley etc? I can guarantee the vast majority of boxing fans probably haven’t even bothered watching those fights. When it comes to Ali, people talk about Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Norton and Patterson and likely in that order too. Although I’d recommend watching Ali-Williams to anyone, as I believe it’s arguably Ali’s peak performance.

Aside from real boxing historians nobody really cares about the fringe guys when looking back on a fighters career. If Fury beats Klitschko, Wilder and AJ nobody is gonna question his resume because he never added filler against lower level guys like Povetkin, Ortiz, Pulev etc.

People who think Patterson beats a 6”9 skilled athletic HW, have likely never even watched him fight.

How and where would a Whyte fight fit into Fury's career, please give me timescales, location, promoter cross promotions, TV promotions and pay details. obviously some of these details like pay will be roughhouse, but run through just a few of these details and let me know if you come up with a solution that seems viable.

All it takes is one issue from many variables. Whyte is probably never going to get a fight with Fury or Wilder. He's in a terrible position, he will have to earn it the hardest way possible.

Dethroning 2 long reigning champions in their own back yards is hardly garbage . Not many boxers have that on their resume these days . The only thing missing is a win over AJ
