Lol....I'd have kept that quiet Edward. Old Edward knows how to treat his fans who supported him through pandemic though £750 to sit in his back garden to watch more shyte that Edward Hearn churns out for the believers. I've just bailed out of DAZN even at £1.99 I wouldn't give this one a sausage!Comment

100 percent. You saw Matchroom bum Bois on the line up, Bellew, Barker etc Wasn’t Bellew meant to retire and go home to his wife and kids? And now wants to be called Anthony?
Not sure why Paulie isn’t being picked up, unless his contract with showtime doesn’t allow anyone to until it’s finished.Comment

You are right. It's a promotional entity. Therefore, I stand corrected and my sincerest apologies are extended. What I meant to say was that the PBC was putting on better cards than the rest of its current rivals and competitors on DAZN like: Golden Boy and Matchroom Boxing USA.Comment

Matchroom have been putting on a lot of good cards over the past yr. Right now they're under dazn's £1.99 introductory offer and as a result they're not in a rush to put on mega cards. I don't think anyone can expect a lot for £1.99 for 3 cards in 3 weeks. Eddie knows the dazn price will go up later so he's just using july/august for 3 cards in his back garden. decent, fun cards..a lot of matchroom uk favourites but not really any huge names will be on those and certainly not any significant 50-50 fights that are top drawer except lower down the rankings.

With pbc, huge exciting cards are coming that i wont be paying for....but still at $70 ppv price i dont even count those to the credit of the promotional outfit. i think the co-main event for fury-wilder is turd.
ajagba vs ortiz would have been worth hyping.
However the ones im liking that deserve credit are Jermell Charlo vs Castano and Fulton (who ive only watched once and im aware he is a big prospects) vs Figueroa.
Some of the cards will have 50-50 fights so that's good. if i inc the Benavidez fight, then maybe at a push, 3 top cards...again i dont count ppv no more.
tbh a lot of undercard fights, i dont watch those unless i hear how good they were later. i tend to watch co-main event and main event fights only.
i guess this is where matchroom do the job for me because im more aware of their undercard low level fights too so i tend to watch most of the fights with them. of course that's down to watching eddie hearn ifl interviews and knowing who is who. That doesnt tend to happen with pbc. no one is going to listen to ellerbe or sam watson or whoever talk for 1 hour and give us the full low down on upcoming fights.
pbc really does a crap job at exposure. it's not hard, just get some GOOD youtube channels (not eli nutsack) to regularly do interviews and put out content that's worth watching.

PBC has been mixed, Showtime has had some really good cards but FOX has been less than stellar. I don't get FS1 and rarely buy PPVs so I couldn't give an assessment on those. DAZN has had some good cards and some pedestrian ones. I'd say the same for ESPN/ESPN+. If I was grading them, I'd put Showtime as the best overall content with ESPN and DAZN in the middle and FOX at the bottom. I'd probably rate the Matchroom cards better than the Golden Boy but I'm honestly not grading them with pen and paper (although I'm sure some of you are).
