you just sound like a hater, dog. most kids that age aren't boxing on your TV, they're in the amateurs or they're off tv in four rounders. and yes, they do gain power in those years. the ****'s wrong with you guys???

I've heard of developing man strength but to increase your power like that in your mid twenties? Not happening!
He couldn't dent a little Cotto among others he hit with the kitchen sink now he's suddenly crushing bones and all sorts of guys twice as big. When the **** has anybody on this entire board ever seen a fighters arm blow up like Smiths did seriously? Ever in the sports history.

I'm a Canelo fan but he's popped before and he's still blatantly on some good ****. He's a ****ing cheat, period.

His power is overrated. Never ko's or even hurts top fighters. Thats why i always laugh when his bumass fans always predict a ko of a top fighter. When he actually faces one

Its easy. The guy is fighting bigger and bigger guys, he started as a pro at 140lbs, now hes at 168lbs fighting guys 10-20 cms taller than him. Also the level of competition, he's been fighting world champion, after world champion, after world champion, a lot of them undefeated. Its obvious his KO percentage goes down. When he has fought 'easier guys'in the last years like Fielding or Yildirim (the typé of guys GGG, Charlo and Andrade fight all the time) he took them out in 3 rounds. If he stated at 154 or 160lbs fighting guys his size and bums like the others, he would be easily KOing everyone there. But Canelo instead is taking all the belts while fighting much bigger champions.

And BTW, for the people who are asking why Canelo punches harder now than 7-10 years ago, its pretty obvious. He doesn't has to cut weight or dehydrate anymore for the fights, and he trains 7 hours a day, every day. It's pretty obvious.

Then all of a sudden he's questioned, excuses are made, Ariza is sacked and suddenly he's had 1 stoppage in almost 12 years since.

He was on those Ariza shakes.
correlation does not equal causation. that same time frame also corresponds with him moving up to 147 in order to fight much bigger guys so logically speaking that would make it harder to ko these opponents. not that he wasnt on ped's cause he clearly was but every fighter is. floyd knew this which is why he developed that program which allowed him to only cheat. also i dont think he would suddenly stop using ped's just cause someone said he was. its going to take a lot more than that to change someones behavior and the ko's stopped long before stricter testing was implemented which points more toward fighting bigger guys.

no one can train 7 hours a day unless they are on ped's. your body would not recover and you would actually hurt your training by doing that.

You could’ve just told that guy that in most cases, particular punishment will create life altering effects with resistance. Canelo basically ended Ryan’s career. Rhodes’ resistance against Canelo was because he fought at a higher weight for years, so he was used to Canelo’s power at that time. Difference is that Canelo was a super talented contender and the best he had fought. Rhodes has already said Canelo was the hardest puncher he had faced. The fast young gun had to develop power techniques over time.

Get to championship level dudes on the regular and by definition you're fighting guys who have made a living out of not getting stopped.

TBH though 67% is very decent for a guy who's been fighting at the top level for a while, mostly the dudes hitting 80 or 90 percent are the ones who have been fighting lower level opposition on their way up.

“Cheating” is being part of SNAC from Conte’s secret wonka factory. The truth is you don’t box. I have more power at a higher weight regardless if I’m faster 10lbs. If you ever hit a heavy bag you’d know the difference from the momentum of your force, punches. The truth is that Canelo carried Cotto too. It was a chessmatch. Canelo was even conservative with jabs against Cotto.
